Right, heaven forbid you actually read the reviews etc..This car gets the highest safety ratings Consumer Reports has ever given a car! Not to mention, ZERO emissions and a heck of a performance car!
You're an idiot and you should count your lucky stars every day for the good things you have, you'll never have one of these not because you choose not to, cause you cannot afford one, never mind the lie that you could buy several, you can't, that's a lie!
IF you had money like that, you'd be able to find something better to do than post all this garbage you do every day here!!!!!!
Why don't you start another thread question, something like
I drop a rock on my foot every day, why is my foot sore? CAn anyone explain that to me?
It's true that Teslas are in less accidents every year than other makes like Toyota or Honda. Then again there are like 4 Teslas on the road compared to millions of Toyotas. Teslas stink!

Yaaaaay an electric car that can go 100 mph for 100k. Problem is the speed limit on the highway is 65 mph. So do the world a favor and go drive your shitty car 100 mph and get arrested again. The world is a safer place when you are behind bars.

Hear that? That's the sound of my 300 hp rubber burning Cadillac. I like watching you eat my exhaust.

The whole "go green" thing is just a scam. The planet has gone thru several changes in millions of years that are just the same as they are now.

Colleges and high schools have done studies and it takes 40 years to recoup the money spent on a hybrid car.

Oh did you know it will cost $5,000 when you are finished with your hybrid to junk it or dispose of it?

Please, tell us how "welfare people" are abusing the school system????? Let me guess..........by sending their children to school so they can be educated contributing members of society???????? With that logic, taxpayers without children could say everyone is abusing the school system. What a disgusting comment. Do us all a favor and crawl back under that rock you came out of.
Are you for real? Have you ever tried to have a conversation with these people? It goes something like 'I ain't know who my baby daddy am. It ain't you problem anyway are you stalking me!!!'

Hardly a zero emission vehicle. It still has to be recharged, despite the gimmicky solar roof panel. Charging requires a lot of electricity, which has to cone frome somewhere, so it's really a coal-powered vehicle. And at 106 thousand smackeroonies per copy (before the optional 85kw model), is't hardly affordable or parctical for most mere mortals.
70K for the new S model, quite affordable by today's standards.

The vehicle emits ZERO emissions, cool of you try your best to say otherwise.

Hey deep pockets. I had no idea I was chatting with a Rockerfella here. If $70k is affordable to you I have some ocean front property in Kansas that I will sell to you at a bargain price.

Sorry DB but they just refuse to get it. Take my wifes car, she get's 34 mpg now to me that's $3.70 well spent. It takes me two minutes to fill her tank. Does anyone really believe I'm about to spend 100k on a car and spend a half hour sitting around while it is charging? What is wrong with these people?

That just reminded me... I was listeneing to the news on the car radio; a report about how the solar/wind electric grid has to turn down output during a high demand period (heat wave) because the coal/oil/nuke plants have a lock on the market by legislative action. Apparently because Big Power fires up these coal/oil plants, they don't want to waste the power, so they had lawmakers force the Green power generators to turn down output... hard to imagine!

This will become even more an issue once all the new generators come online. Who do you think is going to have to pay for this, hmmmm???

The fact that generating electricity using wind or solar power is still more costly than generating electricity by other means, should be the main part of the discussion...instead, you have people like Obama pouring millions and millions of dollars into these companies for their expensive electricity or they go belly up and take our tax money with them.

These supposed green technologies are not ready for prime time yet...too bad many people choose to continue to ignore those facts.

and all on the failed idea that using fossil fuels is creating global warming...too bad the experts can't even agree on it...time to stop drinkin the cool aid.

In all this wrangling I believe that energy conservation has been put on the back burner. The number one issue should be to conserve energy. Candles, oil lamps, fireplaces, insulation enhancements and many other old school ways to conserve such as shutting lights off, unplugging everything and putting on extra layers of clothing.

I agree that we need to seek alternative economically feasible ways to generate energy from wind, solar, movement ect. We need to get back into the business of public awareness campaigns. We use to have a whole host of these campaigns from fire safety, to anti drug use, anti peer pressure, give a hoot and don't pollute, don't liter ect... The list goes on here. These campaigns were effective.

We need to educate people on conserving energy.

I agree that all this money being spent is foolish. We are giving Billions to oil companies to study and produce alternative energy sources.

These people will develop solar and wind alternatives but they will keep the costs extremely high in order not to negatively affect their oil sales.

They keep these costs up enough to cover their investments. It is all a game. It is the same people at the helm of these efforts who have their hands in on oil profits.

Do we really think that an oil king I going to give his throne up for lower alternative energy that they themselves are managing??

You are among the most ignorant nieve people in the world. Yeah I could put 500 solar panels and a windmill on the roof of my car and yeah I might be able to pull out of my driveway before the battery is dead. The technology isn't there yet.

Yup...we definitely have a CLEAR CONSENSUS that global warming is a reality AND IT IS CAUSED BY HUMAN INTERACTIONS WITH OUR ENVIRONMENT...not!

Firstly, we do not have a consensus among experts that global warming exists, but more importantantly, we have no verifiable proof that our interactions with the environment are causing the damage that proponents of global warming claim.

So we have people like Obama, insisting that we have laws that regulate our industries into extinction, when other countries do nothing, and all for a problem that might not even be caused by these industries...THAT IS INSANE!!!

Make it a political statement all you want, but I challenge you to find qualified evidence (scientific reports have time and time again been proven to be altered to show a result that favors global warming)that PROVES that global warming exists AND PROVES that it is man made and not a cyclical event that is a natural event for our planet.

Most recently, an article stated that the main agency that monitor our climate had to remove sensors from hundreds of locations because the locations were nonsense locations to have a wether sensor...one sensor was mounted above a steam discharge pipe from a manufacturing factory...well, DER...thats a good place to monitor ambient temperature...huh??

Heaven Forbid...instead of being the moron you normally choose to be, provide your proof or STFU.

No one cares what you think about energy or anything else. You are a loser and a proven liar who has been on the dole all of your life. If you can't tell the truth about your sordid background, why would anyone take any of your opinions seriously?

Evergreen Solar comes to mind. The Government gave them millions and built them a factory on Devans. What did they do? Laughed at how stupid the Government is, took the millions of taxpayer money and moved to China.

Green energy is for suckers. Sure you can spend thousands to put solar panels on your roof and a windmill in your backyard and you might be able to create enough energy to light a 40 watt lightbulb. Or you can go to Home Depot and buy a flashlight for a dollar. You do the math.

When the cost of producing electricity using Green Methods is equal to the cost to produce it using coal, hydro, and nuclear, you will see the private section invite it in with open arms...only government has the ability to waste precious taxpayer money on processes that are not yet ready.

If these technologies were so good, all kinds of companies would be in those businesses...here's a good question...where are the 5 million green jobs Obama promised? They didn't materialize because these methods aren't ready yet...someday we may see improvements to the point that they are feasible, but not yet.

Government should continue to provide SOME funding for the research to perfect these methods until they are economically feasible, but not provide grants for an industry that isn't going to make it.
