The back-to-school season is here, and as parents take their children to shop for school supplies, I suspect that many of them will be visiting a Staples store. I'm very familiar with those stores because Staples is one of many businesses we helped create and expand at Bain Capital, a firm that my colleagues and I built. The firm succeeded by growing and fixing companies.
The lessons I learned over my 15 years at Bain Capital were valuable in helping me turn around the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City. They also helped me as governor of Massachusetts to turn a budget deficit into a surplus and reduce our unemployment rate to 4.7%. The lessons from that time would help me as president to fix our economy, create jobs and get things done in Washington.
A broad message emerges from my Bain Capital days: A good idea is not enough for a business to succeed. It requires a talented team, a good business plan and capital to execute it. That was true of companies we helped start, like Staples and the Bright Horizons child-care provider, and several of the struggling companies we helped turn around, like the Brookstone retailer and the contact-lens maker Wesley Jessen.
My presidency would make it easier for entrepreneurs and small businesses to get the investment dollars they need to grow, by reducing and simplifying taxes; replacing Obamacare with real health-care reform that contains costs and improves care; and by stemming the flood of new regulations that are tying small businesses in knots.
My business experience confirmed my belief in empowering people. For example, at Bain Capital we bought Accuride, a company that made truck rims and wheels, because we saw untapped potential there. We instituted performance bonuses for the management team, which had a dramatic impact. The managers made the plants more productive, and the company started growing, adding 300 jobs while Bain was involved. My faith in people, not government, is at the foundation of my plan to strengthen America's middle class.
I also saw firsthand through these investments how energy costs impact the ability of a business to grow. Today, energy costs are weighing on job creators across America because President Obama has limited energy exploration and restricted development in ways that sap economic performance, curtail growth, and kill jobs. I will take a sensible approach to tapping our energy resources, which will both create jobs and make energy more affordable for every sector of our economy.
Education in America? Thanks to the vulture capitalist at bain capital who shipped all working American parents jobs to China and India, mommy and daddy do not have a job any longer so they cannot buy school supplies, a computer or cloth me nor send me to a private school.

As our nation is 25th in Math and 32nd in Science now thanks to these vultures/ profit mongers many of our citizens do not have money to purchase school supplies!

As a result the GDP in India and china are rising at a rate of 150% and 1500% respectively! Americas GDP has decreased at the same time! Geez thanks Bain!!!!

I encourage for all to not only to vote for President Obama but to vote for every opponent of all Republican candidates.

Republicans in congress have done NOTHING but OBSTRUCT every Pro-American Jobs bill!!!!!!

Scott Brown has voted along with the Republicans which has significantly obstructed JOB GROWTH in America!

We need to reverse this destruction of America and to put America back to work even if we need to go to war!

Mitt Romney developed bain capital which has been the leading American corporation that has destroyed America through its vulture capitalist ways as they have outsourced all American jobs to India and china for profit.

There corporate economics has not worked as they would sell their own mothers for profit! When America was working and a great place to live our government represented the people and protected its citizens against vulture capitalist corporations.

Now the leader of the vultures wants control of the country!!!? can you say "COMMUNIST"????

As bush has stated before; "it would be easier for him if he was a dictator"!!!! They do not want to lead they want to control!

Bain capital has assisted the GDP growth in India and china!!!!

As Halliburton did, Bain will be next moving its operations to Dubai!!!

We need to protect the American citizens from these vultures!! Dubai is the home of the American TRAITORS!!!!

So you're blaming our failed education system on Bain Capital? You really are delusional.

Hate to burst your buble but it's the LIBERALS who will not allow school choice, vouchers, charter schools, all things that are PROVEN to help the Black student get a better education. It was the LIBERALS who ended the school voucher system in place in DC, the system that got the Black students out of the ghetto schools that were failing them and into a private school of their choice, as program that PROVED that they were valuable, the kids in those programs excelled, got into college. This is what the Liberals have done for Blacks regarding education, they have demanded that Blacks stay in the inferior ghetto schools they are in, being taught by teachers who don't want accountability just the nice pension at the end of their 20 years. THAT IS WHAT DEMOCRATS HAVE DONE FOR THE KIDS, nothing but appeasement and more money thrown to the UNIONS!

I remember teaching was a noble profession, before conservatives began demonizing teachers. The AFT and the NEA are teachers. Oh, but they're unions, so they must be bad. Because all unions are bad. The whole lot of them. Remember when unions were noble? In a galaxy far far away...

And when you do get those charter schools you want. and those vouchers you want, and you have a brain drain to the suburbs, what are you left with? A whole bunch of poor kids whose parents don't give a shite about them, All left behind. What are you going to do then?

Conservatives ought to find out how best to fix the schools from the inside out and not advocate nonsense like this. There are plenty of success stories in places like Philadelphia, and NYC, and even Boston where change takes place from the inside without abandoning the majority of poor kids. You're shooting from the lip. Do some research. Sure, charters and vouchers work. For a few kids. But what about the rest of them?

Or would you rather just let a few kids flee, pat your conservative backs, kiss each others' conservative behinds, and keep complaining about teachers and their unions?

Ah, your bigotry is rearing its ugly head once again, Mr. Stamos.
Civil, even Oblame-O’s real “Bro” calls him half white. Does this make his black brother a racist too?
http://www.youtube.com/watch...
And did you notice that reach around you got from one of your very own, our wanna-be Mayor? I bet you get a real big ego boost every time he clicks on that big green checkmark in support of one of your own liberal rants... Excuse me while I laugh. Bwahahhahaha ahhahahhah hahahahahhaha.

And Civil, what’s with the bla bla bla comment about Ann Romney and her kids physical (teeth) attributes? She was wonderful. She spoke to women and what they all intuitively know. They are the backbone of the family. No matter how high powered or menial the job, they get it done. She is a survivor and her strength and faith empower all women. Her message is positive and counters the meme that women should depend on the government for their needs. She won't spend her time criticizing women's choices, she will spend it lifting them up and encouraging them to believe in themselves. She will be a First Lady to be proud of and very deserving of that title. Right now we have a Worst Lady. And speaking of physical attributions could you picture Moochelle “the manly looking one” towering over Barry with a clinched fist screaming “who’s your daddy, who’s your real daddy BARRY”?

Anyway Civil, even if you truly do believe I’m a bigot or racist, you are still avoiding and neglecting to address my point in regard to this “FAILURE” of a POTUS. 38 million people saw Oblam-O “the Messiah” for what he is- a scripted hypocrite hell-bent on socialist policies and social engineering that will spread the welfare and create nothing but division among all hard-working Americans.
Bush came into office with little expectations, he was inaugurated into a relatively calm environment both domestically and internationally, or so it seemed. There was a lot brewing beneath the surface (the first WTC attack) but Clinton managed to obfuscate most of it with the help of the media and his Lewinski blow job. The dems were prepared to marginalize his presidency so they could get back to their task of socializing the country. Everything changed on Sept 11; Bush was catapulted into the role of a war-time president. The dems hadn’t counted on that even though their ineptitudes had caused it. When Bush, as CINC, took one courageous step after another to counter the terrorists threat they had to temper their criticism; biding their time until they could find an opening.
They manufactured that opening with the “mission accomplished” sign. They never looked back, the democrats proved to be more malicious and underhanded than the terrorists. That is their legacy and I think they are proud of it because it accomplished their Machiavellian plans perfectly.
The thing that differentiates people like me who resist Oblame-O’s tyranny from you Bush haters is that we are opposing Oblame-O for love of country not hatred of a person.

And Civil, did you happen also to catch that Mia Love speech?
http://www.youtube.com/watch...
WOW. This woman is not only accomplished, she’s gorgeous and the best that the liberal Rags can come up with is:
"token black Republican"
"one of the two African Americans in Utah not playing for the Jazz [basketball team]."

These people and their ilk are disgusting excuses for human beings. Had a conservative made this statement before the word "TEAM" was uttered the MSM would have been screaming "Racist Bigot" in a nano second. The liberal war on women is alive and well.

Stamos, for Christ's sake, don't write so much nobody can respond to your rants. Well, anyway, no, Barack's brother isn't a racist, he's stupid. A stupid brother. I have one too. So stupid I don't even want to say he's my brother.

And quit that bwahhaaaaaa bullshit. It's dumb. Just plain dumb. i don't get it. If you want to laugh at me just say "Ha ha!!!"

And don't forget, Bush came into office in one of those rare events where one can lose the popular vote, yet still become president. What a travesty. Something our civics teacher at the old academy used to tell us wouldn't happen did. The loser won. Figuratively and literally. And then the loser filled his cabinet posts with more losers, and away we went. And then Al Qaida attacked us and 3,000 Americans were killed in a blink of an eye. And then he attacked Iraq because they had WMD's but they didn't. And 3,500 Americans were KIA looking for weapons that just weren't there. Because they were in Syria. Don't get me wrong, Stamos. I loved the old man, you know,#41, Republican or not. He was a great Commander in Chief. A real war hero too. But the son? Did you ever hear about him getting popped for DUI while he was in Kennebunkport? What he said to the cops? What a stubido. But anyway, that's history. Right?

That pretty mayor you showed me, va-va-va-voom. But what's your point? That she isn't a token black female? Oh, yeah, that role has already been taken by Connie Rice.

I don't know, Stamos. I'm serious when I say I'm undecided. It's not the moderate element of the Republican Party that concerns me. Hell, I was a Reagan Democrat. It's you extremists that worry me. What you say, and how you say it. Tone it down, for Christ's sake, and maybe "your side" will win. And don't try to link me with him. Sexually or not. I don't read his posts. And I've seen him in person, Stamos. And I wouldn't let him reach around me to open up the door. Yuk. Stop hitting below the belt.

See you Stamos!!!

You are dumb. I've read and re-read Civil's statements regarding his service to this country and what I got out of his posts was that he was not only in the National Guard, but also had enlisted in another branch of armed forces. You can be on active duty and not be on the front lines. You people are truly pathetic.

Ok Civil, I’ll laugh now with Ha ha instead of Bwahahahahahha ahahhahahahah just because you asked me kindly. Civil, I voted for Clinton and have no regrets about it. Even after he sowed the seeds for the three greatest catastrophes in U.S. history: the 9/11 attacks by letting Oblame-O escape his radical past and the mortgage bubble bursting (thanks to his DoJ’s enforcement of relaxed mortgage lending practices). Thanks, Slick!
But seriously Civil, Oblame-O forfeited his right to blame Bush when he a) decided to triple the Bush deficit, b) propose the most radical agenda ever by any president (cap 'n trade, education spending to nowhere, Obamacare, etc.), and c) failed to live up to his own expectations on transparency (stimulus bill), earmarks, and hiring lobbyists. So it’s time to forget about using Bush as a scapegoat. No one buys it. Conservatives differ from progressives in one major way. We accept culpability for our part in the current crisis. I have yet to hear a progressive take responsibility for the mortgage mess (one example). Oblame-O rejects the “old ideas” of the past by going even further back in the past to the failed New Deal ideals. He rejected Bush’s war strategy by essential continuing on the same course.

The veneer is peeling off this Community Agitators masterpiece and people are seeing that what lies beneath the attractive veneer which is nothing more than sawdust and glue. This economic mess will not end quickly. Even Oblame-O understands that. Why else was he preaching that this will take time and trying to lower (again) people's expectations of him all while avoiding his own record? Why’s his entire campaign focused on attacking his opponent and not on his record? Is that not how he got into politics in the first place? Personally, I think he has overplayed his hand, worn out his media coverage with oversaturation of himself (his ego will ensure that continues), and even now his fellow democrats think twice about being tied to his doomed to sink ship. The man is a political meteor. Blazes to life hot and fast but like most meteors he will end in a fizzle.
And did you catch that Artur Davis speech the other night? Ha ha….

Hey, tell this one to your dad:

A sailor and a marine are urinating at a public restroom. The sailor finishes first and washes his hands - the marine just walks to the exit. So the sailor says to him, "Hey, in the navy they teach us to wash our hands after taking a piss." The marine says, "Yeah, well, in the marines they teach us to not piss on our hands!"

OR this one: What did the sailor say to the one behind him in line? Stop poking me!

OR How do you separate the men from the boys in the navy? With a crow bar.

I bet he'll laugh! I did!!!
