Proud to say I cast my vote with Ryan. Sorry the other 58 people didn't see the light. Your loss is a loss to our ward.

Don't give up Ryan, you would have done a terrific job. You are already a great asset to the city of Fitchburg.

Holy mackrel! The people of the burg are awake.

They voted in the best mayoral canditate and also turned down the efforts of Dandy Dan the pant man, and Tommy boy.

At least it looks like they are learning.

A couple of others should have gotten the boot...but slow and steady I guess.

"As you know, our city is in financial stress and we've got to look at our departments and find out which have the most money in the budget that really shouldn't be there," Boisvert said. "I'll also be focusing on my ward and looking to rejuvenate the area as much as I can. We've come a long way, but there's more work to do. I'm constantly looking for new jobs and employment opportunities for residents in my ward."

I would like to know what departments he is talking about. Anyone who read the budget knows there's no fat to be trimmed. Currently the school's budget is $1.5 mil in deficit, there are no street lights and there is nothing left to cut from the PD & FD. His ward is mainly residential, so what commercial jobs are going to move in his ward for his residents? He's a good man, but let's be realistic for one moment. What is Norm and the rest of the incumbents going to do? You can talk about cuts and bringing in jobs into the city. What happens when there is nothing to cut and you can't even attract a hotdog stand?

How do you figure? The difference was 114 votes. If 58 of those had voted for Ryan, he would have won.

Come on people at least do some research before you post. The Christmas lights are bought and paid for by donations! This has been debunked over and over, yet some new poster comes along and brings up old news. I know I'm wasting my time posting here but still it is humorous until c-rap like that comes along.

Whah Whah Whah we want everything

Daily Horoscope for January 7

Libra

Remember that life isn't all fun and games: handle your responsibilities first, then plan how to have a good time. Your impulses, once you yield to them, will have a tendency to lead you further and further from where you need to be. Make sure you lock the door behind you before disappearing; when you're in this kind of mischievous mood, you probably won't want anyone else to know where you're going.
