"The courts cost roughly $195,000 to renovate and rebuild, and city councilors appropriated free cash, which is excess taxpayer money, to pay for the installation."

Let me get this right...some of us paid to much in taxes so there is and excess. However taxes continue to rise. Did Govenor Cadillac take over?

They better have wheelchair access or heads are gonna roll.

Oh, and if they do, I'll be there every Tuesday at 6PM - let's see if you can beat a guy in a wheelchair. I doubt it.

I am glad they repaired these, I have used them my entire life and my daughter has taken lessons there during the summer. The courts were always well used when they were in good shape.

key words there are "well used when in good shape"

i.e. in another 6 months they'll be destroyed and it will become the eyesore it's been the last 15 years

Hopefully you are in a wheelchair too or that would be sick, just plain sick. Unless of course you played on your knees which you are probably used to doing anyway.

Its great that they rebuilt the courts. I intend to use them a lot. This was long overdue. The only other usable courts are at Southeast School, but the skateboarders are starting to ruin the nets and the court over there. Let's hop everyone shows some respect for property.
