A casino will bring some revenue but the downside will be the drugs, prostitution, crime, and negative impact on the residents. What is a fairly stable town with a good tax base is about to self destruct if this passes and they attract a casino.

This is just a slots parlor. Do they really attract drugs and prostitutes? I picture a bunch of seniors sitting there pushing buttons. I don't figure where the prostitutes and drugs fit in, unless you mean medical marijuana to ease arthritis.

Maybe Lynch can get a job there as a prostitute. Then he could get off welfare

Did you ever visit Twin River Casino in RI before it added table games? I was there as a member of a bachelor party years ago and it was full of degenerates. Sure there were the old ladies pumping twenties into the machines but there was a good amount of losers spending money they didn't have. You new that their kids were going without food or new clothes depending on the outcome to the visit to the casino.

So in short you are saying Leominster is in danger of turning into Fitchburg but with slot machines?

So finish your point - where do the prostitutes and drugs fit into this picture if these degenerates have nothing left to spend? What or who attracts the prostitutes? The high rollers, all both of them?

Leominster is already worst than Fitchburg, they just know how to hide it better. They don't advertise their police calls. They had to cut down the bushes around the park because of the number of homeless that was in them.

Talk to the developers of Great Wolf Resort in Fitchburg and they have seen what a slot parlor/casino will do to a community. They stated that it is a bad idea for a community and they are in the business of building them.

A slot parlor can be the same size as a casino without any table games.
