Mayor Lisa Wong has appointed Ryan McNutt, who lost in a bid for a City Council seat 10 days ago, as her new chief of staff.

McNutt is an Iraq vet - the VA is paying for his degree, not the city.

I think TJ was forced out by the Mayor's office because he did his job his way, not hers, The munchkin was after his job for a long time from what i was told, An as the Chief of Staff goes he was only the Mayors Assistant

just make it up- do you really think that the Mayor's Assistant (AKA Chief of Staff) is really going to leave his Full time Permanent position to go to a Full time Temporary Position??? BE REAL!!!!! He already has that as a PERMANENT POSITION, I dont care if there is a panel that is looking for a "Permanent" replacement. If the panel recommends somone other than Jones, Wong wil override their decision and appoint him because SHE wants to, NOT because he is the BEST canidate for the Veterans of this city!!!! Eve was the MOST impartial and Level headed person in that office. This woman from Gardner must be someone the mayor knows or a friend of someone in the MAYOR'S club!! If you think that Jonesy Boy does not have that position Locked Up, you are Naive and must be one of the Mayor's pets!!!!!!!!!! If Ken Jones does NOT get that job PERMANENTLY, I will give up my badge!!!!!!!!! OOOPS, did I type really type that!!!
