New Neighbors: Fsu students move in
Sep 3, 2012 | Posted by: roboblogger | Full story: Sentinel & Enterprise
Every fall, as students move into the dorms and various living spaces at Fitchburg State University, residents in the area are forced to deal with increased traffic and jammed streets.

This article is disturbing as it is a purposeful collection of lies.
This has been the problem concerning the Sentinel, FPD and University connections. This article is one big LIE!
For one, the parties last year went till 5am which was different than the previous 3 years where parties ended at 1:30 am.
We have been documenting the neighborhood on purpose. Beginning on day one that the students move out the neighbors begin sweeping the broken glass and all the raw trash that these students create.
The difference is already seen and video taped. On day one, there is broken glass everywhere, broken furniture and trash that will sit in the middle of the street all year long!
Already our blue glass globe was stolen from our house. We do not park in the street during the school year as the students will scratch, dent, break your windows and break off your sideview mirrors.
Last school year there was fires everywhere! On Highland ave at the heart of the college parties at the brick building they burned a coach for HOURS as the University police just drove by the flames! Just across the street a student burnt down a three decka house that was filled with drunken students which was a massive fire that burned the roof entirely off the home.
I personally watched the University police escort and chaperone students from one party to the next at 5 am!! These University police didn't stop and ask where they were going nor did they tell these kids that the party is over!! He stated "are you guys ok? Are you being bothered??
This incompetence will be video taped this year. There is already footage of the neighborhood. We will be posting these videos online for every citizen in Fitchburg to view.
We will send these videos to the Mayor who completely doesn't care!
After the Sentinel prints on the FRONT page of the Sunday paper that violent crime is down in Fitchburg!!!! Last year couldn't have been more violent!! It was one step from having to arm all residents!!
No one is attacked on Main street because no one walks down Main street. All this paper needs to do is to look at all the homeless in Fitchburg as half of them have black eyes and bloody knuckles!
One incident involved a heavy set black male officer who was approached by a slow white kid whoes bike was stolen. The theif just pulled off on the bike, the kid approached the officer and stated he stole my bike and the officer stated "what the fuck do you want me to do?" And the kid replied, "so if I stab him to get my bike back this is ok?"

The Sentinel, the FPD and the University are ONE! At the city council debate all candidates kissed the ass of Antonucci instead of speaking the truth!
This year student cars will be videod with zero dents at the beginning. As we will video them getting in their cars legless drunk and we will record the new dents to their cars.
The drinking and driving allowance is 100%!!!! Students driving on sidewalks and hitting poles, cars and other parked objects.
The Sentinel doesn't report ANY negatives of this behavior! The Telegram prints the truth! The Telegram articles will print the entire story.
In todays Sentinel article the FPD ONLY addressed the citizen landlords as negative! It is a JOKE! It is a LIE!
The FPD has the number of 911 calls recieved from the University neighborhood and the TIMES! Neighbors are at their last nerve dealing with this PROBLEM! It is out of control!
It was so bad last year that we noticed this car parking outside. He was very suspicious. We approached. He was stalking to see what vehicle a certain student drove. We asked why and he told us.
This RESIDENT works at 6AM everyday. The University students party at top notch till 5AM with certain students always louder than others to the point where residents such as this one has been able to pin point a student.
These parties hold over 200 people. Last year I personally seen very bloody fights. I seen fires set. I seen the University police doing NOTHING but chaperoning the students at 5AM!
I have heard and seen neighbors yelling "Shut up, we have to work in the morning" and I have spoken to these residents as they state that they call the police over and over. They have been calling the state police as they haven't been answered to by the local police.
These are facts! Not what the Sentinel prints! The Sentinel NEVER allows nor prints the other side! I personally wrote the Sentinel while running for Mayor over Chief demouras FALSE comments printed about me! I approached with facts, a statement and offered to sit down with evidence and MULTIPLE witnesses!!!! They refused to print my rebuke!
The head of the Sentinel is BIASED in the favor of local politics, the University and the FPD! Todays article is another story that proves this favortism to the point of relaying pure LIES!!!!!

There will be those out here that will say that these working Fitchburg citizens should move out of Fitchburg. They will also state that it is just average student drinking parties. They will tell me to move.
So instead of addressing the problem they will LIE through articles such as this one! They will print the stories that lead to accidents outside of the Fitchburg University area that include students and residents/citizens involved in car accidents due to the lack of sleep caused directly by the University drinking and party ALLOWANCE till 5AM!!
5am should never be allowed! Is it a JOKE????
The Sentinel should of printed the burning coach story as an interest story!!!!! It was burning till 5am! It was directly across from one of the worst Fitchburg fires of the year! It was so close that students throw their empty beer bottles from the burning coach to the now fenced in empty foundation!!!!!!!
The blue light planted outside of the University dorm building is a symbol of their complete arrogance and abuse of power and their non caring for the citizens of Fitchburg!

In the past few years there has been murdered students, student killers. Are any of these situations linked to the partying at all?
Another question; are the multiple fights at these parties documented under violence in fitchburg? The ambulances that arrive to treat injured students, are they documented?
With the article in Sundays Sentinel concerning a "reduction"(?) in violence and then todays article on the "peaceful" University community. Let me ask, are any of the FPD 911 calls involved in this reporting?
The Sentinel ALL YEAR long printed HUNDREDS of VIOLENT crimes within FITCHBURG that took place and then they cosign and print this story concerning a (decrease) in violence? Atleast they should of stated "in difference to all of our reporting for the year con cerning local violence.....".
Political reporting from this newspaper should also be questioned. Such biased reporting that conveys lies made by police department heads, city department heads and the University is more alarming than you think. There are constitutional questions that arise. Society has and does count on the media to report unbiased reporting; society counts on the media to report and investigate abuse of power conducted by government.
The Sentinel in my mind gets a F ++ regarding these needs of the community. Picking and choicing what side of the story to print is incompetent, careless and enabling to violation of the constitution!

This year alone I believe there has been a significant rise in domestic abuse assaults; is this included in Sundays reporting?
In the past year there has been stabbing and gunshot victims. The local EMT force would have these official numbers, were these numbers investigated?
Are robberies included in this reporting? In Fitchburg almost every store has been robbed, we have even read reports of store owners shooting back.
In college I studied statistics, I understand that statistics can be reported to state what ever you wanted them to state. Was the reduction of violence reporting just in reference to the catergory "assaults made by assailants who didn't know their victims"? Does it not include fist fights? Does it not include student parties? Does it not include the victims of violence who refuse to point out their assailants?
Now, they will say, if you do not like the bias reporting then do not buy the newspaper! I would have to agree with these people who sate this as I have been contemplating on not buying the paper for well over a year now as it has become the "good ole boy" bulletin as opposed to a properly reporting newspaper.

You're unhinged and dangerous. The word is "cycling". Get to a safe place where you can't hurt yourself or others.

I just reread this article. I cannot just sit back and pretend that I am not reading what I am reading!!
This entire article is a complete JOKE! Last year the partying has involved partying till 5am with FSU police chaperoning. It is deplorable levels that are being allowed in the University neighborhoods.
This article, Fossa states that in the 90s that the students burned a mattress and overturned a car.
I would like to remind Fossa that it was just last year that these University students carelessness burned down a student off campus housing building.
I would like to remind Fossa that it was just last year that these students burned a couch to ashes at 5AM on Highland Ave directly across from the house fire!!
And I would like to remind Fossa that it was last year that the car was overturned onto its top in the University area by students. I will help you out, it was the expensive "electric car" that was overturned.
The skipping through the tulip field story that this article depicts is non existent. It is not only non existent but it is completely FALSE!
These stats are available to the FPD and the Sentinel.
I encourage all Fitchburg residents to drive down Myrtle Ave and Highland ave and to begin to notice the broken furniture, fire pits near the sidewalks, beer bottles broken, broken mailboxes and broken cars. It gets worse as the school year proceeds.
When the students leave for the year the residents clean the glass and debri left behind beginning on day one in force! It stays clean all summer with NO GLASS. When you see the broken glass then you know the students are back in school.
Just last night there was 200 students partying outside at 2am. Drive down Highland ave and you will notice across from where the student housing burnt down due to UNDERAGE drinking incompetence you will notice the nearly 35 beer bottles laying on the grass next to the sidewalk.
There is NOTHING done about this situation,NOTHING!
Why is it that no one in positions of power within Fitchburg can tell the truth??? These stories printed by the Sentinel are so obviously phony that they are tough to stomach to read and to swallow all the lies being reported.
As with any problem; you cannot fix nor even begin to address the problem until YOU ADMIT THAT THERE IS A PROBLEM.
This article is a COMPLETE BS story that does not exist in reality!!!!!!!
#8 Sep 3, 2012
These people will not address these problems until someone dies or a number of students are killed in a fatal crash.
Ignoring the truth is setting a bad situation up to take place.
And to even attempt to write about Myrtle Ave as being a quiet neighborhood???? Did this reporter ever walk down Myrtle after 5pm?
Just last night the State police and other authorities raided a home on Myrtle in riot gear. Did this reporter not notice the swat team running down the street?
In the past few weeks the FPD and state police have been flooding Myrtle Ave in an attempt to catch drug dealers and gang bangers.
I applaud them and encourage these police to keep up the great police work on Myrtle Ave but to hear from this Myrtle Ave resident in reference to Myrtle being a relatively quiet street???
The truth of the matter concerning Myrtle is that it is a drug infested, drug dealing street, a known gang hangout/pow wow, gun taunting, gun firering, gun sales, prostitution haven and homeless mecca and not the Tulip skipping area that this person speaks of.
In fact, Myrtle is the only street in Fitchburg that I am worried walking down. Now add a partying student population??? The college parties thrown on this street are usually violent as the neighborhood thugs and the partying college students do not mix that well; it is like mixing water with oil.
The State police and the local police are in the right neighborhood!!!
My worry is this as I am all about prevention. With Sundays "violence" reduction myth front page article and todays tulip skipping University partying story written. I fear that this water and oil mixture will see a fatality this year. I state this after a year where the FSU police have been 100% incompetent by allowing this partying till 5am that this 100% ENABLING/non existent accountability being deplorably displayed that this non holding to account will come to a bad result.
The main issue here is the allowance and the complete NON addressing of the totally out of control partying will go real bad as a bad result will take place!!!

Just last week a car was surrounded, urinated on and the two male occupants assaulted as the female driver locked her doors.
Is this a reduction in violence? Every week now I read about a domestic dispute resulting in an assault. All year it has been beatings and stabbings.
This is all smoke and mirrors! There is an serious increase in crack dealing and heroin. This increase usually involves an increase in violence which has been happening.
Stores are closing, stores are being robbed in a row now. Stabbings, gang activity is on the rise. To write articles that do not reflect the reality is incompetent reporting!
The more that these articles continue to be falsly portrayed by the Sentinel the worse Fitchburg gets. The responsibility of a newspaper has always been to report both sides of the story! With the Sentinel, i truly believe that they send their proofreading and printing granting to the FPD and the University before it hits the newsstands.
If this continues Fitchburg will be the next Lowell!!!! It kind of is beginning to be evident as Mayor Wong is from the Lowell area, Chief Demoura is from lowell PD and the editor and Chief at the Sentinel is from Lowell as he stated he covered Mayor Wongs time in Lowell.
This is not the direction that Fitchburg wants to go in at all!!!!!!! Vote Mayor Wong out of office. Demand that we have another Chief hired. Demand that the University take on a better accountability role in the community. Write to the Governor requesting for a new University president. And somehow attempt to have the editor at the Sentinel to be replaced with an editor who believes in holding local government accountable to the citizens and an editor that will print the truth instead of make beleive stories that they have been printing.
Yes this is a hairball of a mess for the citizens of Fitchburg but a change is needed across the board!!!!! Fitchburg citizens deserve much better!!!!!!
#10 Sep 3, 2012
It is time for the residents of Fitchburg to have people in office that will represent them and not the special interests.
Fitchburg is a mess. We have a University who accepts ZERO accountability. We have a FPD spokesperson in fossa that specializes in reconfiguring statistics held by this department. A Mayor that tells you one thing and does another. And then a newspaper editor who conviently wraps it all up together and falsly portrays reality to the citizens of Fitchburg who are living in the real world.
It is a hairball of a mess. All the elements are here in Fitchburg unfortunately. One back scratches the other as nothing gets done!
You cannot fix a problem that does not exist right? Mayor Wong stated that Fitchburg didn't need more officers and that officers were not just parked in parking lots hiding out.
Then days before the general election she puts 12 additional officers out in the street. Now we have cruisers flashing lights and addressing crime instead of parking in empty lots.
Fitchburg also has a high number of state and federal officers within the city. Now I have to ask, with all the police pressence how on the planet earth can the Sentinel print on the front page of Sundays paper that violence is down in Fitchburg?
As I walked by a newspaper box and repeatedly seen this headline I immediate felt that the citizens of Fitchburg were getting salt poured on their wounds by the Sentinel reporting.
Yes, there is increased police pressence and crime is being addressed more often but the fight against crime has just begun. Articles such as the Sentinels front page one puts less of a need for more officers which is not the reality. Fitchburg needs more state and federal involvement to battle crime and government corruption. Fitchburg is a cesspool of a mess regarding these needs.
As a society we need to do our part now. We all need to vote in order to get rid of the inactive phony kiss assing leaders that represent Fitchburg. tell it how it is and stop depicting a skipping through the tulip fields.
Crime is rampant in Fitchburg and is ready to increase two fold. Violence has been up and not down!!! In fact violence is ready to increase. Fitchburg is saturated with gangs. This has gotten much worse in the last year.
That officer, heavy set black officer, should be brought in a read the riot act. Either he does his job or he leaves in order to allow someone else to do his job. He stated to this slow white kid."What the fuck do you want me to do?" And the white kid replied so, I should get a knife and handle it myself? The cop got in his car and left.
I listened to this kid state to the theif, I want my bike now or do I call the police or meet up with you at a later time when I have a knife on me in order to get my back back?
Two days later the white kid is flashing a knife out of his pocket. The kid has a mental disability.
#11 Sep 3, 2012
So, can we forcast what this slow white kid is going to do next?
I do not know who this heavy set black officer is but I can see that he has issues with white citizens. I see him jiving with black gangsters but then he shuns white citizens. I think this officer needs to be checked for this possible racial indifference that he seems to be displaying.

You're never going to be elected to office. Never. No one will ever vote for someone with your awful criminal record. You're a loser. Always have been, right? You've got the intelligence of a 4th grader. Your grammar is laughable. You're unable to carry on an intelligent conversation.
You add humor to our day here on Topix. That's it. No one takes you seriously. Why? Because you're a joke.
#13 Sep 3, 2012
Holy smokes, those kids sound like they're having fun! Can you imagine living in a college neighborhood and then complaining about the kids acting like college kids? They're having fun. Ha ha! They're partying and seeing people they haven't seen in months and they're meeting new hookups and they're acting like college kids. I wish I was a college kid again... Having fun and unwinding on a Thursday, Friday, and Saturday night. Lots of hookups and drinking kegs and raising hell and stuff.
Wish I lived in the college neighborhood this time of year. That would mean I'm coming back to Fitchburg State University and I'm ready to party hard! And learn, of course.

yeah, instead of venting on here, he could be polishing his binoculars.

And you are a business man? LMAO. You operated one failed business after another. Your credit score is high so you are able to borrow money. You are a failure, look at yourself in the mirror! It looks like you eat all your profits!
#16 Sep 6, 2012
So one one hand you have 18-22 yr old neighborhood kids who do not attend college partying on the weekend after a long week of work at a low paying job and a stack of bills to pay. On the other you have 18-22 yr old college kids whos' apartments are paid for by the state, tuition paid for by the state partying on the weekend?
So let me ask, take a member of each group. Compare the consequences for me. A college kid tips a $20,000 car on its roof. A non college kid tips a car on its roof. What does each individual recieve for a consequence?
College kid drinking and driving, non college kid drinking and driving.
Please compare the differences! Fist fight, Yelling at 4am while drunk, smashing a side view mirror, starting a fire, urinating carelessly in public then telling the complaining neighbor to have their mother suck it for them and the list goes on.
So you are saying that we should pass a law that is equal? So you are saying that it is OK for this behavior at the house next to you? So you are saying any behavior of ANY kid 18-22 should be ignored to the point of no accountability?
If I was public drinking when I was 18-22 then I was arrested. If I got into a fist fight at this age I was arrested. I have seen more bloody fights, smashing of property at these college parties than I have seen in any other party in Fitchburg.
Here is one good example. You have a memeber of each group driving drunk all the time. Why is it that the University student has more dents on his car after drunkin nights? It is accountability!
Behaviors that are not controlled through accountability only get worse and repeated more often.

My son is 20 years old and goes to FSU and hold a 3.94 GPA He is studying to become a intensive care nurse. Lives at FSU. Yes he likes to attended parties. I am very proud of my son. But all you have to do is sit in your little closet and say all kids from FSU are bad. Get a life.
I hope you come out and get the help you need.
So you can't pick on the police any more so your turning to the students to pick on. AGAIN are you not allowed at FSU??
No wonder why people call you a RAT and killer.
When I say to come out of the closet I want you to get medical help. Everyone all ready knows you came out of the closet.
Good luck Mr. Lynch (Rat)
