LOS ANGELES -- Eight Los Angeles police officers who mistakenly shot newspaper delivery women while guarding a target of fugitive ex-cop Christopher Dorner remain out of the field pending an internal investigation.

LAPD Lt. Andrew Neiman says the officers who were on a protection detail in Torrance, Calif. are assigned to non-field positions and will remain there until police Chief Charlie Beck decides otherwise.

Margie Carranza, 47, and her mother, Emma Hernandez, 71, were delivering newspapers in their blue pickup truck at about 5 a.m. Feb. 7 when officers fired at least 100 rounds at them, according to their attorney Glen Jonas. He says the truck has 102 bullet holes in it, some of which are doubled.

The women are still awaiting a new pickup truck promised to them by Beck, Jonas says.

So Stamos, here is a 70 yr old woman and her daughter delivering newspapers in a pick up truck. Trigger happy police pump over 100 bullets at the truck. Tell us what should be the outcome!

Really, we need to discuss this matter. Tell us what should be the outcome? Let me tell you, fire them all! Put a few in prison. The ones who fired first should go to jail.

This is attempted murder! This is actually a good argument for the right to bear arms!

Now if the women were armed and fired back after being fired on what do you think should of happened to them?

If they did fire back and struck these police and killed them then I would state loud and clear that it was justified .

What reality of life do you live in? Your thoughts and positions are VERY similiar to that of Hitler!!!

Read up on Hitler and their thought process.

Read the article again Lynch.
Notice the word "mistakenly"?
Notice the words "pending an internal investigation".

Now notice your own words Lynch "This is attempted murder!"

Definition - Attempted Murder
In order for a person to be guilty of attempted murder, that person should have deliberately, intentionally or recklessly with extreme disregard for human life, attempted to kill someone. There should be some substantial step towards committing the crime.

Definition -Presumption of Innocence

A principle that requires the government to prove the guilt of a criminal defendant and relieves the defendant of any burden to prove his or her innocence.

Now what was it you were saying about "thought process" Lynch???

Personally, I think it was just an unfortunate mistake. And no one was hurt. It's not as if they beat and stabbed someone using golf clubs, for example.

Wow, really Stamos. Are you F-ing kidding me? Reread your definition! Here it is

Do you think firering over 110 bullets at a pickup truck with two women in it delivering the newspaper is reckless? Intentional? Deliberately? Do you think they fired with extreme disregard for human life? And finally do you think that 110 bullets may end up killing someone?

Reread what you wrote and get back to me!

So you are going for the mistaken identity? LMAO, oops I guess they should of asked for the women IDs before they "mistakingly" fired over 110 bullets at them huh?

No offense but wasn't it you who posted about a truck you thought was a danger to you? In the end it turned out to be nothing. People make mistakes.

That is news to me, Thanks for the update Chief. How can you tell me this online? The word is "thought", correct? And another thing I didn't fire any bullets at the truck.

This actually could be detective L. Let me state detective which I should of done when I met you in person. You owe me an apology, and not just for what you say out here all the time but for the set up that you conducted against me. How do letters that I sent to the Chief end up in witness testimony?

Detective L; you should come to my house and extend an apology and a handshake that I will accept. You have access to all the material, I thought it was you before because a few things that you mentioned online but I was not 100% positive as you also leaked it to others unethically.

It needs to end as you did me wrong once and it caused me some extensive damage financially and otherwise.

To mention this truck incident is revealing. I gave the Chief the license plate, address and name of the person. He did follow us but you probably accepted his lame excuse.

Everything else checked out, didn't it? For you of all people?? You need to stop this BS. I do not have anything against you. Any names that I called you in response to you calling me names is just that and nothing else. I want it to stop.

Thanks for calling me Chief, I like that. But in truth I'm just repeating things you posted about a truck here on topix. I hope you haven't been sending e-mails to the police about your mystery truck. If you are I would not be upset if the police department doesn't like you. WHOA a truck just went by my house so I need to call 911!!
