Sooooo, who's the Lt. Gov of MA right now? And why don't we have a LT. Gov right now? That's right, too many scandals to count that little Timmy got involved in. And how many recent Speakers of the House are ex-cons? Still think our state is head and shoulders above the rest.

Now you just look like a tool.

And seriously, you're gonna tell ME about how lame politicians are @ the state level? I've been telling people the same thing for years, but it isn't a single-state issue. You're from MASSACHUSETTS, and you're gonna open that can of worms? L0L
We'd be happy if all you worthless yankees were to return to the cesspools you come from, but, for some reason, many continue to come here to escape those places you seem to find so wonderful.
Hope you have to run from your own home when some thugs decide they want to come in and party whether you like it or not. Or maybe get your ass kicked half to death because you're waiting on LEOs & couldn't get a Concealed Carry Permit to handle punks like that little gangstah wannabe we were talking about somewhere along in this mishmash of emotional bullshit you're attempting to foist off as intelligent discourse.
okay, i've had my giggles, you may return to your blissful ignorance
Where's the redneck button! This poster needs it bad! Maybe when you finally figure out the real reason us "worthless yankees" retire in Florida, you'll have some actual knowledge to boast about.

As usual, it has to be spelled out for you to connect the dots! PS: asking a question as a response to a question is a troll like tactic of distraction!!!

Your Lt. Governor Carroll, who resigned because she was involved with a scam ripping off our Veterans (worst of the worst crime against the citizenry), was given the position to head the task force studying the "Stand your ground" law, which was not written by the people you voted to represent you but rather a rightwing think tank named ALEC and you're so ignorant, you think all that is just fine! So you come here and put your paranoid constant fear of life down for us all to read.

And surprise surprise, she found the law written by outsiders to be just wonderful and just!

Praise the lord, pass the snakes!!!

We retire down there because we live like Kings and Queens with our pensions in your land of trailer park trash, bugs, alligators, swamp land and air conditioners.

While the local native Floridians will always live in a trailer we will be living in your luxury condos and homes.

But times have changed and now Aruba is the new spot to retire instead of Florida. 83 degrees year round, no rain and no storms because it is located below the tropical storm belt.

Also they use US dollars foe exchange and Aruba has all the American restaurants and entities. Dunkin Donuts, Pizza hut and so on. And everyone speaks English.

Sorry but Florida is out now. That's why Aruba is called Floruba now.

Why retire in the land of welfare?

Everyone must work the late night shift in Fitchburg because I see they all sleep in during the day and hang out on their porches in the afternoons and early evening.

I would stay in Fitchburg too if the government paid for all my expenses and I didn't have to work for it.

So everyone must work the late night shift right?......wink.

Another interesting case. But she left and then came back to fire the shots. Read the trial transcripts. Hardly an effective SYG defense.
You call 20 years in prison for firing a warning shot into the air and NOT killing anyone, "interesting"?

Warped sense of justice is what I would call it!

Interesting all right, people should avoid Floriduh all together, you people are all crazy.

"SYG", why not call it the Teddy Bear Law or something as cute and fuzzy so people don't realize it's a travesty of Justice!

Are you seriously taking offense to the abbreviation SYG for Stand Your Ground? Does it need to be typed oout every time it's mentioned? If you knew what I meant by typing SYG, and everyone else does, espcially in context of the Zimmerman trial, what is your concern with the use of the abbreviation?
Do you realize that SYG was not a component of the Zimmerman Defense? Or are you one of the uninformed who think this was a SYG case?
Thought you read the transcripts? You'll find the reference in the final instructions IF you did!

http://www.scribd.com/doc/153354467/George-Zi...

"The Stand Your Ground law that gained notoriety in the wake of Trayvon Martin’s shooting became central to the case again last week, when written instructions advised the jury that found shooter George Zimmerman not guilty to take the law’s central provision into account."

"Most famously, Zimmerman originally claimed he had immunity from prosecution because Florida’s Stand Your Ground allowed him to pursue Trayvon Martin for looking suspicious. He dropped the claim, and argued self-defense instead when he went to trial, but the jury instructions contained Stand Your Ground language, and a juror admitted it still played a role in their decision to acquit him of all charges."

Your reading comprehension is awful. The Defense never entered SYG as their defense claim. Exactly what I said. The Prosecution did in closings but that's not admissable as evidence. It was grasping at straws, just like the child endangerment charge they added at the end. They knew they were beat and that was a last ditch effort.
Now you should educate yourself on the reason why they defended this from the angle of self defense nad not stand your ground. THe implications on the Civil actions are immense. In short, Martin's family is not allowed to win judgement against Zimmerman because Trayvon was killed during an act of self defense. If it had been SYG they'd have a civil case. FL law allows for immunity from civil action in self defense cases. O'Mara said as much in his post verdict press conference when asked.
F-You, I understand completely and your insistance that I don't is really tiresome!

a) Jurors were swayed by the instructions, instructions are directions, they matter!

b) Nobody is arguing the law wasn't followed, I am arguing the laws all interconnected, result in travesties of Justice.

LEgal travesties!

You'd like to say they don't, they obviously do! And those laws are also, created by a funded organization, not the representatives you elect!

CAn you comprehend this?
