pretty bad when the insurance companies that are processing new insurance contracts say it is a blessing that the website is messed up because it is sending them corrupted data. They can handle the small volume of people actually signing up because the numbers are so low.

That was actually my bad. I sent out 200 letters to the Al Gore fan club congratulating him on selling a tv network to Al Jazeera (could be his twin brother 'Al' and all). I was so excited when I got a response saying 'Thank you for all your support please send $50.00 for a self portrait of Al.' I read it in the Church and then went pee all over the pew.

Reality,

Firstly, if you think I stay online all day and night just to spar with you, you're sadly mistaken...others do have a life beyond this silly place.

The fact that you choose to ignore that the website is sending garbage to the insurers VS your statements regarding government takeover is telling, but I expect that from you. You can't challenge the facts regarding the problem, so you attack the sources, the person writing the post, or the Republicans.

The fact that the government isn't actually providing the insurance isn't the point dumb ass...the point is that government is forcing people to buy a product, as well as the silliness of calling it healthcare. That is the Democrat ploy of renaming things.

It is health insurance dumb ass , not healthcare. Health insurance is provided by INSURANCE COMPANIES...health care is provided by doctors, nurses, and various other people trained in health care...two different things, but I don't expect you to understand...you are obviously a Democrat.

Lets see....maybe the government should force everyone to take in an orphan and raise them. It doesn't matter if you can afford it or not, you have to raise an orphan. The people that don't earn enough money will get some money from the government and increase taxes on those that can afford it. Orphans need a home too and then our orphan problem will be gone...right?

Maybe the government should force everyone to buy solar panels to put on their house...it is good for the environment and will help fund the research needed to make better solar panels. The people that can't afford it won't have to worry because the people that can will be taxed to pay for the others. If you don't install solar panels, the government will tax you to pay for others solar panels.

Maybe government will force you to have a domestic animal from an animal shelter...animals need love too. If you don't have an animal, the government will tax you to pay for someone else to have an animal. Then we will have fewer animals that are stuck in shelters.

Maybe the government can force each household to take in an illegal and make sure they are clothed and go to a private school and college. Of course the government will tax you and take your money if your unwilling to take in an illegal. They deserve to have good things too...right?

You really are a dumb ass!!

Maybe the Government can force you to understand, it was REPUBLICANS IDEA and now you want to blame Democrats for it!!

"The individual mandate requires consumers to purchase health insurance in order to eliminate the problem of free riders — people who don’t purchase insurance until they get sick or injured or those who never purchase insurance and end up passing on to the rest of us the costs of care they can’t afford. Detractors argue that the mandate unconstitutionally infringes on personal liberty by forcing Americans to purchase health insurance. But compare it to three ways of addressing the free- rider problem in health care that are clearly, indisputably, constitutional:

• Single payer: The federal government increases income taxes and, in return, guarantees everyone government-provided health-care insurance. There is no option to opt out of the taxes. This is how most of Medicare works, though the insurance kicks in only after you turn 65.

• Late-enrollment penalty: The single-payer approach only holds for “most of” Medicare because the Medicare Prescription Drug Benefit works a bit differently. For every month that you don’t enroll after becoming eligible at age 65, your premium rises by one percentage point.

• Tax credits: Under various health-care proposals — including the plan of Rep.Paul Ryan (R-Wis.)— the tax code is changed to give families a tax credit for purchasing private health insurance. Families that choose to go without insurance, or simply can’t afford it, would not receive the tax credit.

All of these plans share the same basic approach: They impose a financial penalty, either before or after the fact, on those who forgo health insurance. Single payer does it through taxes, Medicare Part D through premiums and Ryan’s plan through tax credits.

Now consider the individual mandate. Here’s how it works: Starting in 2016, those who don’t carry insurance will be annually assessed a fine of $695 or 2.5 percent of their income, whichever is higher.

Skeptics of government should clearly prefer the individual mandate to single payer. In fact, the individual mandate was developed by conservative economist Mark Pauly as an alternative to single payer.“We did it because we were concerned about the specter of single-payer insurance, which isn’t market-oriented, and we didn’t think was a good idea,” Pauly told me last year. In the 1990s, the individual mandate was also the Republican counterproposal to President Bill Clinton’s health-care bill, and in 2005, it was the centerpiece of Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney’s health-care reforms.

The tax credit, meanwhile, is essentially indistinguishable from the mandate. Ryan’s plan offers a $2,300 refundable tax credit to individuals and a $5,700 credit to families who purchase private health insurance. Of course, tax credits aren’t free. In effect, what Ryan’s plan does is raise taxes and/or cut services by the cost of his credit and then rebate the difference to everyone who signs up for health insurance. It’s essentially a roundabout version of the individual mandate, which directly taxes people who don’t buy health insurance in the first place.

Interestingly, Ryan’s plan imposes, if anything, a harsher penalty on those who don’t purchase health insurance. Ryan’s tax credit is far larger than the individual mandate’s penalty, and much easier to enforce. Under Ryan’s plan, if you don’t purchase insurance, you don’t get the credit. End of story. Conversely, the Affordable Care Act doesn’t include an actual enforcement mechanism for the individual mandate. If you refuse to pay it, the IRS can’t throw you in jail, dock your wages or really do anything at all.

Its incredible that ACORN people are using the failed government website for Obamacare for requesting donations to fight for the awful program, but even more incredible that people would overlook the failed website and say, "oh sure, I will donate".

I guess there are all kinds of stupid in America, and Obama is a professional at collecting stupid people to do his dirty work.

Just more evidence at just how badly our education system is failing us.

How Republicans fool themselves and expect everyone to also believe what comes out of their little Faux Snewsbot bubble!

"Maybe the Government can force you to understand, it was REPUBLICANS IDEA and now you want to blame Democrats for it!!"

A prime example..

"when it became clear that President Obama’s budget would include the chained-CPI policy congressional Republicans are so fond of, Paul Krugman asked a poignant rhetorical question:“[W]anna bet that Republicans soon start running ads saying that Obama wants to cut your Social Security?”

some scoffed at the idea. Republicans are extreme, but they’re not that extreme. The GOP is shameless, but it’s not that shameless. They couldn’t seriously condemn the president for offering a policy Republicans demanded he offer, could they?

Of course they could.

Rep. Greg Walden (R-Ore.), the chairman of the National Republican Congressional Committee who’ll oversee his party’s 2014 midterm efforts, told CNN’s Wolf Blitzer yesterday that the chained-CPI policy is “a shocking attack on seniors.” Walden added that Obama’s proposal is “going after seniors” and “trying to balance this budget on the backs of seniors.”

ON CNN! In Obama's pocket? R~I~G~H~T.

So, let’s recap.

1. Republicans demanded that President Obama accept Social Security cuts through chained-CPI.

2. Obama, eager to reach a compromise, grudgingly agreed and offered Republicans what they asked for.

3. Republicans then attacked Obama for proposing the policy they demanded.

This is, by any fair measure, insane. But it’s also predictable – this is the same caucus that demands Medicare cuts, but then based their 2010 and 2012 campaign strategies in part on attacks that Democrats cut Medicare.

No serious person could take such garbage seriously, but Walden apparently believes voters are easily fooled and manipulated."

Cause policy decisions, blame Democrats for them!

No Non-Teabagger could take such garbage seriously!

Its incredible that ted Cruz is using the failed government shutdown which cost the country 24 billion for requesting donations to fight for more shut downs, but even more incredible that people would overlook the failed shut down strategy and say, "oh sure, I will donate".

I guess there are all kinds of stupid in America, and Teabaggers are as professional at collecting stupid people to do his dirty work.

Just more evidence at just how badly our education system is failing us.

His state director, John Drogin, notes that combining all of the senator's accounts (including his reelection and leadership PACs) yields a haul of $1.19 million from 12,000 individual donors. So there you go."

One story is true, the other from Faux Snews so...
