Once again our Reps show their true colors. They want free reign and no accountability. Hey Jens why don't you support cutting benefits to illegal aliens? The numbers in the Herald state 1.2 BILLION dollars a year!!

This should make your blood boil.

Did you know this?

Will You Ever Sell Your House?

Did you know that if you sell your house after 2012 you will pay a 3.8% sales tax on it?

That's $3,800 on a $100,000 home etc.

When did this happen? It's in the health care bill. Just thought you should know.

SALES TAX TO GO INTO EFFECT 2013 (Part of HC Bill)

REAL ESTATE SALES TAX

So, this is "change you can believe in"?

Under the new health care bill - did you know that all real estate transactions will be subject to a 3.8% Sales Tax? The bulk of these new taxes don't kick in until 2013 If you sell your $400,000 home, there will be a $15,200 tax. This bill is set to screw the retiring generation who often downsize their homes. Does this stuff make your November and 2012 vote more important?

Oh, you weren't aware this was in the obamacare bill? Guess what, you aren't alone. There are more than a few members of Congress that aren't aware of it either

http://www.gop.gov/blog/10/04/08/obamacare-fl...

Why am I posting this? The same reason I hope you forward this to every single person in your address book because you can make a difference.

I checked this on snopes.com and this is indeed coming in 2013. Nice of them to hide this in the health care bill.

Sorry surfer girl if your parents bought their house back when they were young and try to sell it they will be paying the higher rate...Although that will be nothing compared to what will happen to it if they die and leave it to you...you will be lucky to see any inheritance. At least spell knuckle dragger correctly you simpleton.... Can you buy a vowel?

I vote yes on the first issue. Why should a rep have to go to the state house to vote? It's much more convenient to do it from home while you rake in a nice paycheck and cushy benefits.

Nooooooo, they won't knuckledragger however you want to spell it. Primary residence disqualifies it. It is not investment income, can you read?

You're an idiot.

"PUT COMMITTEE ROLL CALLS ON WEBSITE. Supporters of the new rule said this would simply give people quick and easy access to the committee votes of their legislators.
Some opponents of the new rule said the idea is a good one, but the website is not yet ready technologically to implement this system. Others said the posting would be confusing. Some argued that the current process of allowing a person to come to the Statehouse to get these roll calls is sufficient and has worked well for years. NO: Reps. Jennifer Benson, Stephen DiNatale, Harold Naughton, Dennis Rosa; Sen. Stephen Brewer, Jennifer Flanagan"

So let me get this straight. Flanagan & Rosa say it's easier for to DRIVE to the statehouse in Boston, than it would be to go online at home and view how they vote? That's a joke right? I would prefer you just tell me they're not going to make it easy for to keep an eye on you.

They are simply stating that it's easier to drive to Boston, find parking and go thru security at the state house and find the office that has this info than do it online. What are you an idiot?

AS if you could do better. You have zero experience in these matters. All you do is complain on these message boards. Get a life, get a job, for a start, and get some counseling.
