This is not right! This money should be used to put a new roof on my moms house, paint her kitchen, buy her a 52" flat screen and a new computer! That's what the money is for and that's how it should be spent!!!!!!!<quoted text>
Block grants are to renovate parts of the public entities for the whole of the community and residents. So parks will be built where there are empty decrepet lots.
IT IS NOT for residents or businesses. If that was the case then every homeowner will be entitled to a new roof and the people who don't own a home get nothing.

Wicked, The city is purchasing electricity off of a different electric company than Unitil.
And for another thing the city cannot sign a contract so a company can operate as a monopoly! There is monopoly law. If the city did sign a contract then it is null and void to federal and state law.
What you state sounds good but thatis all!

Ex-Fitchburg mayoral candidate gets probation in assault
Sentinel & Enterprise
03/23/2012 06:32:08 AM EDT
FITCHBURG -- One-time mayoral candidate Kevin A. Lynch on Thursday agreed to comply with terms of a 2 1/2-year pretrial probation on charges that he attacked an off-duty police officer last year.
Lynch, 42, of 48 Cedar St.,#2, is ordered to not commit any misdemeanor or felony crimes, to abide by any existing harassment orders, and to not publicly comment in writing about the officer, or the officer's family, in relation to the case. Lynch is also barred from pursuing civil action related to the incident against the Fitchburg police, JR's Pub or any of their employees.
Last March, Lynch was arrested on charges that he attacked Officer Kerry Siomos outside the North Street pub after yelling at Siomos and threatening to kill the officer and his family.
The charges of assault and battery on a police officer, assault and battery, disorderly conduct and threatening to commit a crime will be dropped after 2 1/2 years if Lynch complies with all terms.

Lets meet at the station. I will limp into the station alone. Man to man. Lets put it all on the table. I will not file any charges after I leave.
We will go piece by piece, witness by witness. Lets do it as I will give you the timeline and testimony charts to prove that all on your side are lying 100%.
This case may be coming back anyways as I am not going to deal with such harassment.
I called 911! I agreed not to sue a list of people of which they were adding to it up till the last minute and they agreed to dismiss the false charges!
I have a strong feeling that you are the detective. If so, it is way overdue to sit down and talk! I will give you all my evidence. I will outline my charges that I am contemplating on filing that has been put on hold. I will outline everything for you!
Just think, you can then go and change all the evidence to form around my proof. People say never to show your hand but I disagree as the circumstances are different here as I stand by the truth 100%.
I will take the stand for hrs and answer to every question no matter how you ask them. I wasn't quiet in the case. I never withheld anything! The state actually gave me back evidence that they used but then they deemed non evidentiary moments later.

Everyone was wrong but you? The judge, the clerk, the cops, the police prosecutor, the ADA, the Sentinel reporter on the courthouse beat?
And do you believe that they called an emergency meeting of the good old boy network and all got together before your court appearance (Probably at the Fay Club), right?)
And you believe that they all agreed to lie, suppress "evidence," destroy documents (don't you just love the word "documents?" It makes them sound so sinister), am I correct so far?
Good God, man. Even Lyndon LaRouche wasn't that crazy.

Lynch makes sense... wait a minute, phone call. Never mind, my bad I mistook a fork for a phone and stuck it in my ear. Anyways, like I was saying Lynch seems logical and sane to me.

The judge who had to be brought in from the outside because of conflict of interests? He was much better than Fitchburg judges. His time was wasted and no one got held accountable for it. Who paid for that?
The clerk was wrong which put the writing on the wall as a paid lawyer opted out of the case as he couldn't believe it.
The ADA withdrew from the case after they gave back the "states only evidence" and deemed it non evidentiary.
The DA was brought in from the outside as the DA's office stated that an investigation was taken place.
The Sentinel reporter? LMAO!!!! They didn't even print anything!!!! LMAO. Stop it please.
The Faye club? The FFD member revealed that this club was issuing stickers for $5,000 a piece or there about not me!! He also stated that there was other stickers that are known to law enforcement. I didn't bring any of that stuff up as it was the FFD employee!!
Destroy documents? That motion wasn't heard yet as it was scheduled for that day.

Like I said. Lunacy.
Lynch, maybe someone indeed told you that the Fay club was selling some kind of immunity stickers for five large. But you believed it. And then broadcasted it on these very pages. Which makes for a very funny story.
Here's a tip. When you get one of those emails from Nigeria telling you you've just won £10 million, don't answer it.

It is not me that you need to worry about. They were serious and they happen to be a firefighter also.
I haven't seen the Fay club stickers but I have seen the police bar stickers which makes NO SENSE at all! Why would someone have to post a police sticker on their back drivers side window? Seriously!
And why would firefighter stickers be posted on the back window drivers side? Why?
I know a couple people who placed state police stickers in the back drivers side window as they undoubtedly felt that this would prevent them from receiving a ticket.
Now, you will say that "it is to show support" for their profession. Or that it is a "pride" sticker.
Now to cut to the chase we both are in our 40's and we both know why the stickers are there. It is to receive preferential treatment.
I live in a realistic world! If we are going to have a truthful conversation then lets have it without acting "dumb"!
Now instead of answering these questions you will shoot a joke across the bow! This is avoidance of the reality of the real world!

It has been fun but I have to go soon as I am dizzy! My pain is a ten. I am very sick! The pain is close to unbearable.
If you are going to meet with me let me know before I go offline. This conversation is going no where as you block out the truth so we can't have a conversation.

Good points my wife has a sticker and.... wait a minute I think a zebra is in my basement. Silly me it was just the washing machine.
#36 Mar 17, 2013
Plenty of time for jokes later.
Contrary to rumors, all of those IAFF, SPAM, MPA, Deputy Sheriff and BPA stickers won't grant anyone any more immunity than an Ashby Grange sticker. As for the driver's side? Cops approach a vehicle from the passenger's side now.
And the Fay Club? In the day when Fay Club membership mattered, they didn't need stickers. The cops and everyone else knew who they were. They rode in or drove Packards with three digit license plates.
Don't believe everything everyone tells you. Firemen are legendary pranksters.
#37 Mar 17, 2013
Why would anyone need to know who these members were? Protections from certain individuals from being prosecuted is unlawful in itself.
So we agree but you will not state it clearly. Any reality to preferential treatment concerning not holding people accountable due to who they are is out right corruption that does nothing but make a city worse off. Honestly, take a look at the Penn State case.
As everyone out here states, "just do not break the law". This needs to be the same for everyone no matter what!
It is like the other citizen stated at the council meeting; "there are laws already in place". This was in reference to the college area drinking ect.
For one it is illegal to drink underage! When I was 18 I was arrested for this a few times. Now it has become accepted. We have dangerously laxed on these situations to the point where it is having a very negative affect.
Take a look at the rape case against the two students that was ruled on yesterday. They interviewed one of the students and he didn't seem to see any problem with what took place.
When I was 18, I was naked along with this female who was naked. We were in my bedroom, my penis was touching the beginning of her virgina; she all of a sudden put her hand on my hip and stated "no". I was disappointed but I had to respect her "No". I believe that even if sex had begun and she said 'No" that I had to stop.
Some do not agree with me and my stance here. I feel that I am right and that "no" means No and should always be respected no matter how far along consent had taken. We cannot allow our youth to believe different. This is what happens when things are relaxed on such as rules and regulations.
I have heard some state , she should have known what was on the agenda especially where she told the girls that she was going to stay with the boys. I totally disagree. It is like some say "well she should not have been dressed like that as she was looking for it". I disagree as I believe even if a woman ran down the street bare ass naked then she should not be raped.
I understand that running down the street naked in a bad neighborhood is not a good idea but it still doesn't give anyone the right to rape her!
I have been to strip clubs at bachelor parties; I don't expect that I can have sex with these women just because they are naked.
I say all this is because a young girl told my father ,"f you old man, we can drink when and how much we want because we are in college"! For one she was underage, second she was intoxicated and third she was violating laws.
Everyone says if you do not like the out of control parties then move out. Really? Is this the new law of the land? For one, many of these students state "it is only Fitchburg"! Really? Shouldn't we be concerned with their perception? What about there feeling that they can be disruptive, disorderly and law breaking freely due to their belief? Is this OK?
When you allow it to be OK then it gets worse. Those two kids violated that girl whether she was drunk or not didn't give them the right to rape her! They are guilty and should go to jail; yes they can repent, apologize and learn from what they did wrong!
Accountability has to be applied equally for the constitution to work. We cannot hold some accountable and others not accountable for the same behaviors!!

Lets get back to the topic. Block grant funding! comment on the issue at hand and do not harass me.
#39 Mar 17, 2013
OK. There should be a CDBG proposal to buy you a farm in Jaffrey NH, surround it with an 11' high barbed wire fence and prevent any electronic access.
#40 Mar 17, 2013
See, I attempted to give you a serious answer and what do you do? You immediately rocket out into some disassociative cosmic non-introspective hyperspace. Disruptive? Disorderly? Law breaking? Try looking in the mirror. Student hijinks are nothing compared with your curriculum vitae.

It all doesn't matter as the Mayor and city council will earmark this 1 million into the "great savings account"! Like they did with the extra Million the state sent.
The "great" Mayor who sees nothing wrong in Fitchburg!
Homeless increase? Where? I thought I had the Sentinel write in headlines "No Homeless allowed, move on?" Hey, the Mayor says the homeless can read the paper can't they?
Abandoned home problem? Where? The city will wait another 50 yrs until the homes fall down and then we will need no funds for repairs.
Jobs? Where? There aren't any, what is your problem?
Businesses? Who needs them? No one has money to buy from them! As the Mayor states ,"if citizens still have any disposable income left after we raised the taxes, water and sewer then there is room for more taxes.
Problems in Fitchburg? Mayor just blames all the past Mayors. The Mayor does have a point. She feels that if she does nothing then nothing can be her fault!
Did that Lynch ask another question about where did the money go? Block grant funding? Who? Didn't I get rid of that board as I am handling all that business.
