Trippy,

Lynch didn't bring up an issue, other than to whine about a city councillor. Dean Tran has the right (as we all do) to express an opposing view, which may be the same view of many Fitchburg residents. Many of us feel that Fitchburg already does more than its fair share of "helping people" that have various situations that require assistance.

This facility was originally in Gardner...why didn't they find another location in Gardner? The article discussed the need for the facility being on a flat surface for accessibility, so they move to the second hilliest city in the USA. I guess it couldn't be that Gardner didn't want it, so like all other agencies that get the cold shoulder from surrounding towns...lets move it to Fitchburg.

The people that live in that area obviously stayed in that area because they like a more rural type of living situation. Why should anyone, especially Lynch believe it is fair to go impact them instead of locating facilities like that where the neighbors won't care if they are there or not. At the same time, Lynch MOVED INTO a neighborhood where a college exists, and he bitches about the college all the time.

So your defense of Lynch is an empty defense...he didn't bring up an issue that concerns us, but used it for yet another whining session against someone in authority, and he hates anyone that has any authority.

As far as the subject at hand...I agree with Councilor Tran...we help enough people already, let one of our neighboring towns take some social responsibility too.

Unfortunately it was Lynch who started the thread and then turned it into another thread about himself and the problems he creates for himself. Lets be honest and call 'The Bridge' what it really is. It's another bleeding heart liberal company that wants to throw some troubled or disabled people into a facility and then milk the government for millions to care for the people and make huge profits. Give me a break when they say facilities are "rarely" used for other purposes and they need a place that is handicap accessible. There are many buildings that are currently built that meet their needs, it's called following the building code.

<quoted text>If I remember correctly, didn't you already once fail at getting funding for a business start up location on John Fitch Highway thats now the Concord Electric Supply Company? And wasn't that what got you all fired up which led to your Mayoral attempt in the first place? What business plan did you have or present for a North Street location? Did you fail at getting funding for that too? Is the "good ole boy" network keeping you down or could it just be because you're a high risk investment? I mean, when is the last time you even held a job or weren't government dependent?
Funny, I don't remember statingthe address! So, you have the inside information? Interesting!

I did also file interest with Fitchburg concerning North Street. And Yes, I have the emails and the witnesses that went with me to city hall. And Yes if the property has been given away then I will file a suit as you would also!

I have a very strong feeling that my idea was stolen. This is my idea as I will file suit to be compensated!

Bullshit! There are well over 200 homeless within Fitchburg and only 60 beds which are full to the max! You lie!

For another, this population of "STUCK UP" citizens is very small within Fitchburg. Fitchburg is #2 in highest unemployed!

What type of person complains about a facility that houses wheelchair dependent citizens? Really??

Dean Tran does have a right to free speech. As a public official he has an obligation to assist the elderly and handicap especially when all he does is exploit his minority status. He has choisen his side!

Dean Tran is the leaderfor the "snorty, selfrighteous selfish snobsof Fitchburg"!! They should be ashamed or atleast begin by getting rid of their bibles that they exploit for self interest also as they do not abide by the basics within it!!

"whining session against someone in authority, and he hates anyone that has any authority". Really?? He has a responsibility as he is employed by this city.

"As far as the subject at hand...I agree with Councilor Tran...we help enough people already, let one of our neighboring towns take some social responsibility too." NOW HERE WE GO WITH THE POLITICALY CORRECT TWIST!

Ouyr neighboring towns do take responsibility. For another, Fisher rdlocation is FLAT!!!! Stop twisting!

I didn't even begin to comment on the quotes of the snobs! One being "one of the last good areas of Fitchburg"! The entire Fitchburg is nice. You are like these people as you point at others throughout your day.

"I know that you are christian by your love by your love.." Look in the mirror. Be grateful that you have a social service job! Don't you work with wheelchaired citizens?

Didn't they complain that you were online while you were refusing the residents their medication? Nice! So, you got paid for sitting down in an office on the computer, eating the residents food and sleeping.

So what that I am gay, how does this affect you besides the fact that you wanted to sleep with my boyfriend and he denied you? O the fact that you keep getting into relationships with gay men?

Those that state "we do enough for people in need within Fitchburg". And is this also written in your bible?

$1 a year from your salary goes toward services for the handicap per year! I say we give you your $1 back so you can buy a chicken drumstick and hopefully to choke on it.

We are tired of people like yourself who are self righteous! It is a recession and you tell the homeless within Fitchburg "to move on" Now, Tran wants to tell wheelchair dependent handicap citizens to "roll onto the next city as you are not welcome here"?

As our representative Tran has no right to tell the handicap such a thing! We do not tell him to go back to Vietnam!

A statement like this causes us to have to investigate if Trans family was fighting for the government of Vietnam or posing as a friendly trapping American soldiers.

This question is brought up as many Vietnam vets are homeless and handicap within Fitchburg which is a FACT!

Go to Trans website as he exploits his minority status throughout. If you want to exploit this status and then condem other minority groups then yes his integrity and honesty are brought into question!

This issue is over the placement of a housing facility for 6 wheelchaired head injured woman. I choose to stand up for this groupof woman above Dean Tran!

At least I feel your pain and frustration Lynch. You should shut these knucleheads up and tell them about the successful businesses you have opened up in more friendly towns.

I believe that maybe your idea was stolen and you do have a legitimate law suit. Just be carefull, I once had an idea stolen (the automobile was my idea) and I still haven't seen a dime from that idea yet.
Good luck

The Sentinel had an article just the past month regarding unemployment being #2 for Fitchburg, second only to Lowell!

For one those involved with assisting the homeless have come up with this number. I have met 200 homeless within Fitchburg. They vary from down on their luck, drug addicted, handicapped and/or mentally ill citizens!

I spoke to 4 homeless within an hours time last night. They live under bridges and in the woods of Fitchburg. They live in many empty homes within Fitchburg. They are assaulted often.

Fitchburg volunteers give to the homeless through their time and careing. I enjoy clothing and feeding the homeless when I can.

For another, I do not complain about the University. I don't mind the kids partying aslong as they do it safetly, without destructing property and not past 2am loudly!!! I walk my dogs and their is broken glass everywhere in front of these party houses. The owners put up signs "no dogs allowed on property". These landlords allow total chaos to take place at their properties.

Ifit funny that they do not want these kids stepping in shit while they have a burning couch next to the sidewalk raging, nor as they are smashing a dozen bottles each night onto the sidewalk, nor as they are litering the rest of the neighborhood.

Sometimes Lynch you have to accept the fact that you can't always have things your way. Yes in a perfect world Fitchburg would only have gay, homeless people in wheelchairs for citizens but it's not a perfect world.

Fitchburg is ranked 20th in unemployment not 2nd.

Before you go flapping your guns you need to actually research what "non-profit" means in terms of accounting an business practices. It doesn't mean what you think it means. It is a way to set up a business. It doesn't mean that te business doesn't turn a profit.

For example, Citizens Energy run by Joe Kennedy is a non-profit. He takes about $400-600k salary per year. PMC, Pan Mass Challenge, their CEO draws a big salary ($400k +) as well and they are non-profit.

Do your research before coming on here and making a fool of yourself.

Hey Trippy,

You and Lynch must be related...you are starting to post ridiculous stuff like he does to whine about. Compared to other issues that are facing Fitchburg, streetlights and Christmas lights are the least of our problems.

If you like Lynch that much, go find him and make him into a real man...you may have a difficult time with it though, you're not his type.
