Why didn't they ever impeach this guy's boss? 4 thousand American deaths in Iraq under the guise of searching for WMD's and George Bush and his posse get to ride off in the Texas sunset. 4 deaths at Benghazi-persepective, please.

So quit the witch hunt. And stop blubbering about impeachment. Because it was a low level blunder that led to that disaster. Anyway, the last democrat you dummies impeached has come back stronger than ever, and he's ready to sick his wife on you in 2016. Who you going to run against her (and him)? Worry about that.

You ultraconservatives should really try not to alienate yourselves from the mainstream so. You're ranting and raving in the media and everywhere else is exhausting. Counterproductive to the max.

Didn't you guys learn anything in 2012?

"Most importantly, I'm living proof it was directed at individuals -- with the intent of ruining our lives. It almost ruined mine. This is important because the American public needs to see the faces of the targets. I have a wife and 4 children. I didnít deserve this.

Here is my personal story. Iím a small businessman, but also a national media personality with a megaphone. Iím an outspoken critic of Obama. My views are seen by millions on Fox News Channel, and read at web sites like The Blaze and FoxNews.com . And in almost every media appearance its pointed out that Iím Obamaís Columbia Class of Ď83 classmate. You donít think Obama noticed?

The result? In January, 2011 an unprecedented IRS attack was launched against me. My personal story of IRS attack was covered extensively by conservative media.

In 30 years of doing business, Iíve had a spotless tax record. And I had never heard a peep from the IRS. The attack was so over-zealous and out of bounds, I was forced to hire one of this nationís top tax attorneys, who took my case to court where we won a 100% victory.

My relief at being vindicated lasted five days! Then the IRS announced a new tax audit against me.

My attorney had never heard of such a thing and, before me, assumed it wasnít possible.

The many legal and accounting experts (who drained my savings) all agreed this could only happen if I was on ďObama Enemies List.Ē

The attack was chilling and intimidating, affecting every aspect of my life. It was meant to bleed me dry, and teach me a lesson -- if you dare to criticize Obama, get ready to lose everything.

If it is not a "good ole boy network" it is the government! I believe 100% that this goes on as I have felt the wrath of similar corruption.

The only way to get attention of authorities to fix or address it is if it is politically related. Dems against Repubs or repubs against dems.

I am no fan at all of Edwards but they did it to him. It is done often even in our state government. If we allow it then our democracy and all those who gave their live fighting for or democracy was for nothing!!!

The repubs are attempting to do the same thing over the Bengazi attacks. For one it was already stated that the CIA was conducting a spy operation out of the embassy which is against international laws.

That country's government was dismantled at the time and there was unrest. They took a chance in order to score intelligence and it blew up on them, it happens. It is horrible that these Americans lost their lives but they were operatives and it happens.

Bushís war strategy of holding governments that harbored terrorists accountable was precisely what had been missing when terrorists attacked the World Trade Center the first time back in 1993. After that attack the bomb maker, and Iraqi (Abdul Yasin) escaped to Baghdad. Clinton did not pursue Yasin to Iraq, nor did he hold Saddam Hussein accountable for providing refuge to him. If Clinton had the balls to do so, perhaps his fellow Dummycrats would better understand the connection between the Iraqi regime and the Islamic Jihad against this country.
Instead Clinton treated that bombing as a criminal act by individuals not connected to a ďglobal JihadĒ. Following 9-11, a parade of al-Qaeda terrorists, including Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, the leader of Ansar al-Islam, the seedling of al-Qaeda in Iraq, operated from Baghdad.

If Barry were a white republican, he would've already been drummed out of office by the media for the Benghazi debacle (if he would've been re-elected in the first place). The well-conditioned cynic in me finds it hard to believe the media are truly going to go all-in and hold the first black president, and who they hope will be the first woman president, fully accountable for their roles in this historic screw-up. I hope I'm wrong, but the mainstream media has a long way to go to ever be considered an honest broker in my eyes, and I strongly suspect most anyone with half a brain will agree..

Have you taken your BENGHAZI pill yet today, you know, the one that makes you see everything through a scandal prism?

"On "Meet the Press" the other day, David Gregory asked House Oversight Committee Chairman Darrell Issa (R-Calif.) a question that's often ignored in the Benghazi debate. The host reminded the congressman about the attacks on U.S. diplomatic outposts abroad and asked, "[I]sn't this Congress's job to spend the money to beef up security?"

Issa delivered a rambling, 240-word response that never answered the question. Frank Rich noted that if Issa keeps pushing the pseudo scandal, "he'll need an answer, not a filibuster," as to why Congress cut funding for U.S. security at embassies and consulates.

A Democratic senator is thinking along the same lines.

Sen. Barbara Boxer (D-Calif.) said House Republicans needed to "look in the mirror" on who is to blame for the "Benghazi scandal."

"Start by looking in the mirror," Boxer said on the Senate floor Tuesday. "Admit that you cut too much from embassy security." [...]

"It takes funding to protect a consulate," Boxer said. "Who cut the funds from embassy security, the Republicans in the House ... so I think the 'Benghazi scandal' starts with the House Republicans." [...]"They cannot stand the heat so they turn it on Secretary Clinton and that is wrong," Boxer said. "It starts with the fact that there wasn't enough security and there wasn't enough security because the budget was cut."

I've never understood why this doesn't come up more. Republicans certainly see the attack in Benghazi through a lens that filters out all kinds of relevant facts, but if we made a list of all the things both sides agree on when it comes to the incident, near the top would be the consensus about inadequate security at the consulate.

And that necessarily means there should be some kind of conversation about congressional Republicans and their responsibility.

After all, the facts are unavoidable.

Dana Milbank wrote about this way back in October, though the basic issue -- inadequate diplomatic security is the direct result of Republican budget cuts -- seems to have slipped down the memory hole.

For fiscal 2013, the GOP-controlled House proposed spending $1.934 billion for the State Department's Worldwide Security Protection program -- well below the $2.15 billion requested by the Obama administration. House Republicans cut the administration's request for embassy security funding by $128 million in fiscal 2011 and $331 million in fiscal 2012.(Negotiations with the Democrat-controlled Senate restored about $88 million of the administration's request.) Last year, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton warned that Republicans' proposed cuts to her department would be "detrimental to America's national security" --

a charge Republicans rejected.

Ryan, Issa and other House Republicans voted for an amendment in 2009 to cut $1.2 billion from State operations, including funds for 300 more diplomatic security positions. Under Ryan's budget, non-defense discretionary spending, which includes State Department funding, would be slashed nearly 20 percent in 2014, which would translate to more than $400 million in additional cuts to embassy security.

The Republican line on Benghazi -- well, one of them anyway -- is an emphasis on accountability. Four Americans were killed abroad, and GOP lawmakers want to know who deserves the blame.

If there's going to be on ongoing conversation, by what reasoning should the Republicans' budget cuts be left out?

Freedom sin't free, neither is protecting Americans abroad but do Republicans care about that?!!?!! Naw, just want to blame others for whatever they think they can get away with.

This (Benghazi) is a water-shed moment in history. This is the moment, when the executive branch and a political party publically betray the Constitution and the People of the United States, and it's grossly obvious. This is Perjury, Obstruction of Justice, and Dereliction of Duty, as well as Murder, all rolled into a nice little package. This is high crimes, this is treason, and the media, is so left wing nut gone, that they are unable to even provide coverage. This is not a 'step' to dictatorship, this is the definition of dictatorship and tyranny. Wait....it gets worse. The only way you get rid of a dictatorship, in most cases, is to have someone more ruthless and corrupt than the last one. The decent into the abyss, something like Haiti, is well underway.

Deliberately leaving Americans vulnerable to terrorist assault, then abandoning them once it arrives.

Threatening and punishing Truth-tellers about the matter.

IRS auditing political opposition.

Private briefings to selected press aka The New Transparency.

A video maker jailed for insulting islam.

A President who vows to stand with Muslims should the political winds shift in an ugly direction.

A gun-running operation to drug cartel operatives in Mexico as a means to deprive law-abiding American citizens of their 2nd Amendment rights.

Ramming through enormous pieces of legislation, with minimal consideration, crafted by special interests behind closed doors.

Just a few examples of fundamental transformation.

This "Benghazi " is a bed -wetting moment in Rightwing history, one of those moments that make up the hours and days of Republican false outrage and hypocrisy. By the way the the EX - Navy seals that died in the attack were Private contractors. They joined the Navy, took the best training TAX money can buy and jumped ship to become mercenaries. So much for privatization. We could probally have afforded 20 REAL American servicemen at that site for what the Private mercenarie firm was charging for 2.

Still none of of you experts on the subject can explain to me why we are in Benghazi to begin with. It's not like a family sits down to decide where to go on vacation and lil' Joey says "Hey I hear Benghazi is nice this time of year!".

If they are charging 'Flash-Bang' with "Using a WMD" for the Marathon Terror Attack - they yes, WMD's exist(ed) in Iraq & Afghanistan.

According to Hillary during WaterGate, Lying to the American People is an Impeachable Offense.

Benghazi was a weapons transfer point, run by the Turks, funded and supplied by the US to funnel weapons to the Syrian Rebels. Ambassador Stevens was there to put a stop to it when it was discovered that the rebels were part of Al Quida. He met with the Turkish ambassador in Benghazi that night, shortly before the attack.
