Bail for suspect in attempted murder set at $500
FITCHBURG -- Bail was set at $500 Friday for a Worcester man charged with attempted murder after police say he tried to strangle his girlfriend.
John Adams Oquendo, of 47 Adams St., Worcester, is charged with attempted murder, kidnapping, intimidating a witness and assault and battery. His next scheduled court appearance is July 25.
Fitchburg police report that on June 22, Oquendo choked his girlfriend, locked her in a room for two hours, stopped her from calling the police, struck her and dragged her up the stairs by her hair.
In Fitchburg District Court Friday, Judge Andrew Mandell wrote he arrived at the $500 figure for the bail amount by the seriousness of the crime and Oquendo's previous failures to appear in court and previous convictions, including felony convictions.
Man accused of dealing drugs detained at bar
FITCHBURG -- Police say a man who was being given the heave-ho at Beemers Pub Thursday was forced to stay until police arrived after he took a swing at the owner.
Two customers reported to staff at Beemers Pub, at 114 River St., that Christopher Shaw, 29, of 2 Railroad St., Pepperell, asked them if they wanted to buy drugs. The owner initially told Shaw to leave, but he said Shaw started yelling at him and tried to punch him. He was subdued and held until police arrived.
Shaw denied the charges to police, but couldn't explain why he had gone to the bar with no
ID or money on him. The police report said Shaw only entered the pub by sneaking in through a side door that had been sectioned off.
Shaw was arraigned in Fitchburg District Court Friday on charges of assault and battery and disorderly conduct. He was released on his own personal recognizance and is scheduled to return to court on Aug. 20.

No dangerous hearings held? Huh? This and many cases since the Lynch saga should be examined. Is there a problem in Fitchburg court?

What about the case involving FSU student and the $50,000 bail on Christmas???
This I a serious situation and should be examined by the head judge.
Politics should NEVER be a mitigating circumstance for any judge to ponder in his decisions especially where liberty is at stake.

2 suspects in fatal beating have long criminal histories
“The Boston Herald yesterday obtained confidential criminal offender records for Kevin A. Lynch, 22, of South Boston and Kevin M. Dahl, 20, of Weymouth, who are said to have the most extensive criminal histories among the nine accused of fatally beating and stabbing [Andrew McDonough], 23, Saturday.
Both Lynch and Dahl were named by homicide detective Sgt. William Mahoney as participants in the attack on McDonough, who died two hours after he was found in the street with stab wounds and other injuries.
Mahoney, testifying at the defendants' arraignment Monday, said witnesses saw Lynch kicking McDonough in the head in the 2 a.m. assault, which occurred after McDonough and some friends reportedly were turned away from a party at Lynch's home on L Street.”

We need to remind the voters of the trash that wants to infiltrate our city government. A convicted and admitted killer!!!
Keep reporting that article Rollstone and I'll do the same. I frequent other forum online and I'm reporting the article there too. I'm sure that everyone at the Sr Center is aware of the criminal deviant.
