Holy snikeys, does anyone think it possible one of these council clowns is considering announcing their candidacy for Mayor?
$90K per year plus bennies and retirement is looking real good to several.

Still not enough to manage a $116m budget. If she was a CEO at a small $100m company shed be making 3-4x that amount with salary and incentives.

I feel that the Mayor's salary should be $79,000. First term being $79,000 and a second term being $89,000. Third term $99,000.
If a person is elected twice then they recieve $89,000;if a new Mayor is elected then it goes back to $79,000 for their first term respectively..
I have to emphasize that payroll for city employees is already set as it is not anything like running a 100 million dollar corporation.
In my opinion the Mayor has not done well for the citizens of Fitchburg at all. It is all a smoke screen. All services were cut and every fee and tax raised significantly.
We need incentives for elder citizens who remain in their homes. It is financially tough on our seniors. Crime is up,drug dealing has skyrocketed and the lights are still out.
All eligible voters need to register and stand up and vote. I think we need a latino candidate for Mayor in order to raise voter participation.

Let it be known also that Every Mayor has failed under a corporation scenario. The pension system is in the red 100s of millions.
This Mayor has FAILED our seniors!!!
This Mayor has turned her back on the residents of the city!!!
Every single resident is paying more to live in Fitchburg. No street cleaning,No plowing and a forced trash pick up system that benefits Waste Management significantly and soley!!!!
Whatever happened to the paving?

I bet if the Mayor cuts out more lights then she could save even more. All the ass kissers state "I don't see a problem with the drug ridden, crime ridden areas to be anymore dangerous"!
Whoever states this is a liar and an ass kisser;PERIOD! Speak the truth for once !
They will be changing the name of the city to "little Lowell". The city is being run into the ground before your eyes. The residents were back stabbed by the Mayor as she gave way to special interests and non residents.
The overlay is the perfect example.
