Time to layoff more Cops, the rest can wait for the State Police to show up.

Fitchburg is a safer place without cops!

Why cant we just live? Not asking for much.
My friend was coming to Fitchburg for her first time, she phoned to ask for any suggestions before she headed to the airport. There was one simple word that came to mind "DUCK".(Im not talking about the ones at Cogshall) I live on Beech St, 4 yrs ago, 3 houses down a pregnant women was shot, this was a drug deal gone bad and the bullet was meant for the boyfriend, there where many children right there. Last year, the st in the rear of my home is Federal and a boy was shot in the shoulder, a month later a shooting at Parkhill mid day when many children where at play, a boy was shot in the foot. This very incident, I was walking my dog when I heard 5 shots, there was a black car that sped off down Beech St and a Red Jimmy that flew by me with maybe 5 guys in it. I was lucky to have remembered the plate number, they found the Jimmy on Rockland and the stand off lasted 4 hours.Dont know if they arrested anyone but what do you think will happen to these punks? No one was hurt so theyll walk away with a charge of carrying without a license and be back on the street. I am determined to stay in my home of 19 yrs. We need to get these PUNKS off the streets.

Thanks, its just been too much for too long. I am determined to stay, my car has been stolen twice and my home broken into a few times but for the last 9 yrs, my 122 lb rottweiller is doing his job and Ive seconded that with a pit bull. My house insurance went up but well worth the security.
