I am reading what I believe to be so much truth in this artical But how do you go about finding help?People in the proffection say there is help out there but when you go for it it is to expensive to stay with it.Some would say it is expensive to buy drugs to but don't forget they steal for drugs and end up in prison and this is what we are trying to stop. Our prisons are over Growded and getting worse.i truely belief alot off criminals have mental disorders that are not being taken care off and it is just a vicious circle for them and the tax payers. They will take the tax payers money to jail someone but thay inturn will not put that money in mental health treatment what is wrong with this.We have a great place to have a huge mental health clinc right here in Fitchburg at the old Burbank Hospital Why is it not being used, as I said MONEY.We can spend millions to jail people over and over but God forbid we spend Millions on a mental Health clinic. Most people reading this artical will say she must have someone in jail she knows. yes I do so I am speaking from experiance and not by people who has as the quote would say life is great for many it is not Great and the way the jails are filling bite your tongue your children could be next.

If you would recall, the great social engineer, Michael Dukakis closed the institututions in the state that used to do this. He said something about treating these jerks mental health issues against their wishes was against their rights. He said it was their right to roam the streets strung out on dope if they wanted. Also the court system is way too lenient on repeat offenders, how many dealers do you see in the papers going to court for the fouth or fifth time for dealing.
There are also many FREE programs out there that work on the addiction front. These are like everything else though. They won't work if you don't use them. The youth of today have been seduced by the lure of quick riches from the gang banger-drug dealer glorification in the entertainment industry. Watch MTV for an hour or so, if you can stomack it, and you will see where a lot comes from.

Bullsh!t ! Why make excuses and candy coat an obvious moral problem. Here is another pathetic quote from a clueless liberal who claims to be an expert:

"The reason some people turn to drugs is to self-medicate high anxiety or depression," said Lucille Cormier, chief probation officer at Fitchburg District Court. "Heroin is a great painkiller. If you're emotionally distraught, these drugs work as medication, and they keep you going."

Yeah that'll help. Let's give a hopeless godless leftist another excuse for not getting their lives in order. If so many need to self medicate than how does Teen Challenge achieve a 90% cure rate from drugs and alcohol abuse? The answer in a nutshell is Jesus, self discipline and proper moral instruction. These are things that are forbidden from government controlled education camps, of which central MA has some of the worst offenders.

Of course we have drugs when our schools are forbidden to have any real moral instruction. It's a joke, and a carefully designed joke to enslave the masses. After you get a few generations of useful idiots trained up in the education camps, you actually get leaders so clueless they oppose the solution. An example would be a certain unnamed legislator who spoke against teen challenge coming to Fitchburg.

Yup! Outlawing God, All the secular feelgood stuff is ok! Condoms and birth control in middle schools, ridicule people for going to church and wanting to have Bible study classes, Arrest parents for disciplining kids for bad behavior. The leftist social engineers are doing a wonderful job of tearing this society apart. The sad part is WE"RE letting them!! TIME TO STAND UP TO THESE ANTI AMERICAN IDIOTS !!! OBAMA won't put his hand over his heart for the playing of the National Anthem, CLINTON wants to re-distribute the wealth in the country! Scary when you look at it! Only way to change this crap is at the polls.

One "gap" in services....

A guy walked into the Fitchburg welfare office to pick up his check. He marched straight up to the counter and said, "Hi. You know, I just HATE drawing welfare. I’d really rather have a job."

The social worker behind the counter said, "Your timing is excellent. We just got a job opening from a very wealthy old man who wants a chauffeur and bodyguard for his beautiful daughter. You'll have to drive around in his Mercedes, and he'll supply all of your clothes. Because of the long hours, meals will be provided. You'll be expected to escort the daughter on her overseas holiday trips and you will have
to satisfy her sexual urges. You'll be provided a two-bedroom apartment above the garage. The salary is $200,000 a year."

The guy, wide-eyed, said, "You're bullshittin' me!"

The social worker said, "Yeah, well .. you started it."

Beth, what are you talking about? And I don't feel MY MONEY should be spent making ANOTHER mental health clinic. And I don't buy the crap that drug addiction is related to mental health. Its a choice...and stealing and turning into a criminal because of a drug addiction is also a choice

2 suspects in fatal beating have long criminal histories
The Boston Herald yesterday obtained confidential criminal offender records for Kevin A. Lynch, 22, of South Boston and Kevin M. Dahl, 20, of Weymouth, who are said to have the most extensive criminal histories among the nine accused of fatally beating and stabbing [Andrew McDonough], 23, Saturday.
Both Lynch and Dahl were named by homicide detective Sgt. William Mahoney as participants in the attack on McDonough, who died two hours after he was found in the street with stab wounds and other injuries.
Mahoney, testifying at the defendants' arraignment Monday, said witnesses saw Lynch kicking McDonough in the head in the 2 a.m. assault, which occurred after McDonough and some friends reportedly were turned away from a party at Lynch's home on L Street.
