I could pull plenty or news articles on nurses who are mentally ill.
very true. I'm glad you called me out on a technicality. And while you are searching for that article you can also search the percentage of nurses with alcohol and drug problems. And how about check into police brutality in this country

I lived there in Fitchburg for 18 years and I know that not all of those officers are as innocent as you want to believe. It sounds to me that lynch is letting the people of Fitchburg aware of this. Doesn't sound like he is agreeing with covering up for them. do have the ut most respect for police and law authority, but they make mistakes like you and I. But if they are in a position like myself as a nurse we owe to the public hire standards. I have witnesses myself, cops ( too many of them) beating the snuff out of an unarmed individual. This happened years ago and appears that the police department has not gone through the new programs that are offered to them to handle a violator in a civil manner.
I AGREE 100% people who serve the public should be held to a "hire standard".

Ahhhhhhh.... Your true colors and mutual disdain for cops has now come through and is on display for all to see. No matter what your belief or mine might be for that matter of these cops, none of them and/or their loved ones should be subjected to such harassment and abuse with “UNPROVEN”,“UNFOUNDED” and VERY SERIOUS accusations on a local anonymous on-line internet forum, especially when that accuser is using these anonymous internet threads to exact revenge while at the same time also using them to seek political power for that same end. These people and their families have rights too and are being denied their right to defend themselves by their on-line accuser. They too, have become his “VICTIMS”. Can you not see that? Let me ask you, how would you feel if one of your patients (a known liar) was on-line in your local community anonymous internet forum using your name and accusing you of stealing medication from your employer? Or molesting patients? Would you stand down and ignore them?

Stamos,

It is interesting that your first statements point out the very thing I thought in reading the last post from Trippy. He/she obviously comes from the same gene pool as Lynch...it normally takes just a few posts before these folks can be found, but it doesn't take long...good catch as usual!!

Now back to the thread...

It is interesting that the Fitchburg Fire Department overlook the fact that the Fitchburg City Hall is in operation without a working fire alarm system, which is well known to our mayor and city council.

I guess the fire laws only apply to the rest of us, but not city hall. Any other building that must work with the general public MUST have a working fire alarm system.

bravo. This is what I mean. Some people in town/cities get away with "their " set of rules and the fact that some one is letting the public know is about this is fair.

I have respect for them but I Also know what happened when I lived in Fitchburg. Cops using their power and using unauthorized force against an unarmed person. my brother is a cop my step dad is a retired cop and all of my family 4 siblings and two parents served either in the air force or army. I think lynch is making the public know what occurs behind the police doors and I applaud that

and furthermore stop harassing him and maybe he would stop using names of people. It appears to me that the few that post were either known to the man that was murdered and u are still angry about that night or you yourselves are officers of the law and don't like it when you are being called out on wrong doing. And yes I would be upset if some one was accusing me of stuff I didn't do but many of his arguments are in the paper. How do u explain that?

I'm sorry but since Stamos seems to be one of the only people on this forum who tells it like it is I have to bust on him. I'm sure he will get it. I agree that things posted on the "on-line internet' can be worst than the things posted on the 'Off-line internet' Ha I busted you! But your posts are always factual. Unlike some.

Here's a hypothetical for you trippy. The police resieve a 911 call from a woman who says she is afraid because she has three young kids and her boyfriend just came home high on crack with a gun and is threatening to kill them all.

What is the right thing for the police to do?

I'm not sure but didn't that guy who owns the Halloween store get in all kinds of trouble making that very point. If I recall correctly, he pulled the fire alarm at city hall after they gave him a hard time with his system. I wonder how that all turned out?

I would suspect that little happened because pulling a manual station at the city hall does nothing. They might as well remove them because the system they are connected to has never been powered up and put in service.

BTW...that doesn't absolve the owner of the Halloween store from having to maintain his fire alarm system either...if he wasn't in compliance, they should give him a hard time for it.

This is a public safety issue and the same standard should be applied to ANY building that deals with the general public.

You know I had to do it Stamos but I knew you would get it and laugh. That is the proper way to respond on a forum. There is no need to resort to insulting people like some like to do.

Of course there is crack in your town, unless you live on the moon. Silly.
