Lynch has not requested for this place to be shut down. He stated that he likes the music, He stated he likes the cars and he feels that the place is kept clean. It was only the illegal parking that hampered the FFD and the burnouts that Lynch had complained about. This illegal parking has stopped after the incident on March 26th, 2011. You and your little group of friends make these lies against Lynch constantly out here.<quoted text>Wow 40 people on one night? Seems like at least one company is doing well in the burg. I can see why you want to shut them down, you would make a great Mayor. Are you sure with all of your medical problems you should even be running? The way you make it sound you couldn't run to the bathroom without passing out and having a heart attack.
As far as I know Lynch did not request for this bar to be closed ever.
But since you have brought the issue up; Venues had roughly 100 customers and the Chief of Police and other members requested for their closing. The city licensing board held Venues to a higher standard while allowing JRs to operate without proper licensing. I feel that this board should be dismantled.
Other bars were held to having to have workers comp insurance for their bartenders or their doors were closed shut by authorities. Other bars are held accountable for selling food without permits.
The only issue that Lynch ever had with JRs is the illegal parking that hampered emergency vehicles, period!
Others out here and the newspapers have mentioned noise pollution, burnouts, possible steroid investigations, illegally serving minors, food sales that were not licensed, no permits for outside seating, improper signing for permits, entertainment permits not being filed for, improper reporting of ownership and licensing, some stated that a rape case had began at the place, there has been accusations of dui by officers attending the bar and many other issues. Mr. Lynch did not bring any of these issues up! Then it has been pointed out that the commissions denies even knowing of car shows, dosen't know that the place sells hamburgers, chili, chips, watermelon ect. This board has obviously shown a double standard set of rules one for the FPD and family members and one for the rest of Fitchburg.
Lynch supports small businesses but also supports equal treatment. A few bars have been shut down due to complaints from the connected.
