Lynch for President

Try as I may I cannot make myself take Lynch's candidacy for Mayor seriously.
Though I have never entertained the slightest fear this ridiculous person could be elected Mayor it is plain enough that many besides himself and his type actually regard such a thing as not only plausible but even probable.
To a great degree this is a direct consequence of the unprecedented blizzard of public discourse among the class warfare "spread the wealth" crowd. Like Lynch, these are the con men of our age, and all they really know is how to stir up rage and anger and direct it towards "the enemy" --
That enemy being anybody of course that has more than they, or in Lynch's case, the Police or any "authority" who he beleives are responsible for locking him up in prison for a vicious crime he plead guilty to in his past.
Just reading some of his many rants it becomes very obvious that he believes it is "HE" who is the actual "VICTIM" of the brutal murder he was imprisoned for.
Not only does he refuse to admit responsibility or show the slightest bit of remorse towards his victim he even goes as far as accusing and trying to justify that victims murder through a crazy third person rant about some Whitey Bulger leg breaker.

We do not have long to wait before the outcome that will relieve the class warfare "spread the welfare fears from the middle class. It will be a happy day of rejoicing for such people when Lynch is defeated and they awake therewith from their silly and utterly unnecessary nightmare. But for people like me the deeper trouble and larger concern is not so easily dispelled.
There is no need to labor over an explanation for any support enjoyed by Lynch. Fools and nafs and opportunists are nothing new. There has always been a more than adequate supply of crazies prepared to vote for someone like Lynch. About such people there is nothing to be done except hope that in time some may mature or otherwise grow sufficiently to abandon their illusions about politics. We know from experience (through Obama) of course that the vast majority of such people will never change, perhaps because they simply cannot shake that victim mentality that's ingrained in their psyche.
Stamos, I have decided to run for President! Will you endorse me?

Where will you get the money for your proposals? Tourism?! What industries are expanding at this time and what infrastructure or resources are in place can Fitchburg provide for them? All States throughout the country are experiencing difficult fiscal problems and making hard choices about how to generate revenue and where to spend it.
Mayor Wong stepped into office at about the same time the whole country went into deep recession. I agree Fitchburg has been stuck in the grip of an old boy network that has lacked vision for years. These conditions gave Wong little to fall back on when the extra pressures of the economy external to Fitchburg exacerbated things that were already festering there. I think she has been remarkably creative given the situation she inherited.

Where's the follow up story about Lynch picking a fight at JR's?

Once a con always a con.

I guess this officially terminates Lynch's Mayoral run. You can forget about running in tbexWard as well. No one will vote for a loser like Lynch.

Not a good thing when your campaign for Mayor comes to a screeching halt because you're in jail. Hey Lynch. When you get elected, and after you fire all of the FPD, and then hire new cops, maybe you should put Internet access in all of the jail cells so that future mayoral candidates can still run their elections.

I'm missing your posts you dopey bastard.

You know there's a lot more to this story, why don't you share with everyone? Come on, he wasn't just taking pictures.

He was taking pics of illegally parked cars. Then he was beaten by an off-duty officer who was being cheered on by his buddies.

I think someone should be worried about their badge about right now.

When I was younger I had some experience with the FPD and they were stand up guys. They were very professional. If you treat them with respect they treat you with respect. If you are an arrogant d-bag they will treat you as one and they are trained to do it. The police aren't out to get you or abuse their authority. In fact it's just the opposite. Don't behave like a criminal and you won't be treated as one.

Of course you are right. Why wasn't he up at FU taking pictures of all the students cars? Or maybe Cleghorn because we know everyone there parks legally. They may not have a green card or a right to be in this country but they are great at parking even if they don't have insurance or a drivers license.

Absolutely, they are cops just respect them. I don't know why everyone gets uptight because they are doing their job. Don't mess with them and don't break the law and you won't have a problem. If you get caught speeding, don't play dumb just tell the truth and respect them. If you play dumb then you are disrespecting them and insulting them. Don't worry if other people get off free and you don't. Worry about yourself. Most police are helping you so you will not injure yourself or other people. Just don't break the law plain and simple.

I had the misfortune of dealing with Officer Sevigny one day. It took me all of 15 seconds to realize that he was a BWAB (Boob With A Badge). This sawed off runt quickly threw a tirade over nothing. I quickly sized him up as pint sized policeman with a very big chip on his very tiny shoulders.

A boob like this is a potential liabilty on any police force. He is apparently trying to make up for the fact that life was not kind to him; he has the build of a weak 12 year old boy; and the apparent brain power to match.

Let's keep a close eye on this fool. If this clown can pop his cork over nothing at all; what the hell is going to happen if he is ever in a real situation requiring a cool and calm head along some talent? We'll all be in trouble.

So this Lynch POS is the same Kevin Lynch who murdered someone in the 90's. What a piece of trash. Why didn't the S&E report this originally when this buffoon announced his candidacy? And he's still in lockup because he's considered dangerous, oh boy. That's got to put a damper on his aspirations of becoming Mayor of Fitchburg.
And to "there" who says poor Kevin was just taking pictures. It appears as though he was doing just a bit mroe than that, doesn't it?
And the fact that Darn Tooten is so closely alligned in thought with the likes of Lynch should tell you where Darn's head is...squarely up his backside.
Love it.
I don't know Lynch from a hole in the wall; but he has brought up some legitimate points:

1) Tasca's "creative" record keeping regarding old mysterious comp time (9 years old wasn't it?) that he was using to take paid time off and avoid dipping into his VERY LARGE nest egg of vacation time. Some call it "creative" record keeping; others call it outright theft and grand larceny.

2) The refusal by the FPD to enforce the parking laws over at JR's Bar; simply because JR's has direct ties to the FPD via Chuckie Boy.

Darn tootin fool. If JR's was the only place that has parking problems I could understand. Take a ride in the city and you will find all sorts of parking violations. I'm sorry the police are not out ticketing every car but they seem to be busy arresting drug dealers, dodging cars and bullets from crack heads and defending themselves from machete wielding psychos. Then when their shift is over they try to wind down like the rest of us and have a beer and watch a Bruins game but no instead they have this lunatic stalking them with a camera.

I guess getting cuffed and stuffed would be a misfortune,(indeed!) OR was it a billy club upside the cranium? maybe a zap from the Tazer?(DON'T Taze me, Bro!).

You have some real hairs across your be-hind for some Fitchburg cops LIKE Mr. Lynch does. You may not know him, but you sure do sound like him. Not to avoid a cliche, you sure are "singing the same tune."

Hmmmmmmm... What could it be you have in common with Mr. Lynch? Ah, yes... sociopathic behavior. You just can't get along in society, and you have problems with authority. You don't think of the consequences of your actions, and then it's the police's fault.

My father taught me a lesson when I was a boy: "When someone in authority tells you to jump, ask them how high." Have you ever tried being deferential, or is it just too much for you? Are you continually belligerent with police officers? Don't forget; Pride goeth before a fall-or should we say, before a ride in a squad car!!!

You gave it up too easily, Darn' DEFINITELY an ex-con.

Are you the other guy that got busted???

Ok,ok I think that I am following you...but isn't the area in front of JR's the ONLY place in Fitchburg where someone can park illegally without the slightest fear of actually getting a parking ticket for it? And, if so, isn't that simply because JR's is owned by a cop (Ol' Chuckie Boy). I know, I know; we all make believe that Chuck doesn't own the bar; but we all know that he does; right? So, knowing all that; it just doesn't seem fair. Or legal. Why wouldn't anyone who had ever gotten a parking ticket in F-burg; or been threatened with a parking ticket not be fuming mad; knowing that illegal parking happens on a routine basis over at JR's and the FPD turns a blind eye to it?

We cannot use the lame excuse that the cops are all risking their lives for us everyday. We know damn well that most of those on the FPD have jobs safely working within the 4 walls of the station house. The bulk of the Fuzz are not out working the streets. I think that being a cop in a station house is a VERY SAFE job. Who in hell is going to attack a police station; knowing that it is chaulk full of heavily armed men and women who are very well fed on donuts? No, I am afraid that we all have to admit it; being a cop and working at the station house is a safe job; not a dangerous one. So, we cannot excuse the illegal parking over at JR's by using the half a$$ed reasoning that the lawmen who are illegally parking over there are all risking their lives for us. That is bunk and nothing more.
