Sarah Palin is neither smart nor a victim and certainly not classy. She definitely should not have accepted McCain's offer and should have continued to rise as the governor building a set of credentials that she could run on. Her many unprepared speeches including the latest shrouded in mystery once again reduce her credibility.

If you can't stand the heat . . . Sarah just proved that everyone who said she was not the right pick for VP was absolutley right. But she is not going far, I'll bet. Watch for her to start as a special comentator on Fox or something similar.

I am a female and a liberal and would willingly have supported her if she had been moderate and intelligent. Clever does not equal intelligent. The assertion that she was the best Republican candidate (or even the best woman repub) for VP was obviously wrong from the start. She was an insult to every woman who has known she had to work twice as hard to get half of the attention. I don't hate her and I also don't respect her. She thought her spunk and good looks would get her to the White House. If she really wants to get there she will spend the next four years becoming a policy wonk and learning more of what she should have learned in her various attempts at getting a college degree.

The problem I see with this is, who wants a president who has quit in the middle of her first term as governor? Also, if she thinks the media's been tough on her now, what makes her think it won't be even tougher if she DOES run for prez in 2012? Not only do they have the ammunition they always had, but now they also have her resignation as governor. I'd have more respect for her if she decided not to run again, but finished out her current term.

How is that we can't get the South Carolina governor to resigned for his affair(s) using tax payers money (believe it or not, he did) and can't get the elected Alaska governor to complete a term.
