they interviewed a girl in her project apt about what happened .she told them ' yes he was acting wild ' yes ' he came at them with a hammer ' yes he ignored police demands to stop'but the reporter then asked her ' in your mind do you think the police were right in their actions ' her answer ' uumm no they didnt have to shoot and kill him 'they couldve handled it differently '

i about fell out of my chair laughing 'thinking wow 'unbelievable ' right there on the camera for all to see 'she admits condoning this kind of behavior ' and you ask why blacks ' especially the ones in the projects 'where this happened ' have a bad name ' simply unbeklievable .ol 2x and his buddies are on the case lol.

It's ok, he's black. in Louisville, if you're black and shot by police, it doesn't matter what the reasons were. The police are always wrong. They are all racist right? Of course a black man can do no wrong here. This is their city, we're just here with them. We should all just stop what we are doing, kneel and beg for forgiveness from the decent, honest hard-working child-loving black people here.
They have done so much for our city, and our communities. What would we possibly do without them?
(sarcasm for the louisville-level education impaired)
lol 'your exactly right 'im more and more amazed how they condone this EVERYTIME it happens 'and now the activists and ol 2x is right there condoning as well' yes 'your right ' its amazing how the police are ALWAYS wrong no matter the circumstances ' god forbid a police officer protect himself ' we cant have that where blacks are concerned .

most blacks seem to have a real problem with following officers orders 'theirfore whatever happens after that its on their head ' the police have as much right to protect themselves from crazed idiots as any civilian PERIOD .

the blacks coming out of the woodwork every time there is a justifiable shooting diminishes the real instances of police abuse- like tasering a wheelchair-bound double amputee, or a blind woman in her home, or tasering an unconscious man suffering a diabetic seizure 11 times. Activists are their own worst enemy- and that's unfortunate because they are needed in legit cases.

(WHAS11)–A Bullitt County man appeared in court Wednesday morning on charges of assaulting his girlfriend’s twin boys. 18-year-old Samuel Harris, Jr. is accused of abusing 4-month-old twin boys Aiden and Braden on Monday night at a home in North Bullitt County. Both boys were taken to Kosair Children’s Hospital where, according to family members WHAS11 spoke with, Aiden is considered technically brain dead. Braden is suffering from serious injuries, but is expected to be ok. Detectives are now revealing more about what happened the day of the abuse. Police say drug paraphernalia was found in the house, and the suspect told authorities exactly what happened on Monday when 4-month-old Aiden was harmed. One detective said,“His demeanor and that when we started the interview and his admission…it was pretty obvious in the beginning that he was the one we were looking at.” Officers said that Harris told them he’d been using drugs all day before the assault.

Louisville Metro police have identified the man they suspect shot a gas-station clerk during a robbery early Monday morning, then shot himself in a Lyndon apartment complex.

Deputy Jefferson County coroner Sam Weakley said Rickey J. Watson, 53, died of a gunshot wound as the result of an apparent suicide, although an autopsy will be performed Tuesday.

Watson's body was found in Millgate Apartments, 1704 Millgate Road, after police knocked on his door around 8 a.m. Monday while searching for the man who had shot a clerk hours earlier at the Circle K on LaGrange Road

Detectives heard a gunshot from inside the apartment and called for the SWAT team to come to the scene around 9 a.m., said Dwight Mitchell, a spokesman for Louisville Metro Police.

About 11:15 a.m., SWAT officers entered the apartment and found a man dead inside.

No officers fired their weapons during the incident, Mitchell said.

Police believe Watson was the man who committed the robbery and shooting earlier Monday at the Circle K, but investigators were still working on the case to confirm that, Mitchell said.

Jeffrey Lee Puckett ~ Courier-Journal
Man Charged With Murder Following Fern Creek Standoff

A Fern Creek man who held police and SWAT team officers at bay for 3 ½-hours Saturday was charged with murder in the shooting death of his step-father, police said.

Todd Kaelin, 38, was arrested after surrendering at 10:22 a.m. at his home in the 6700 Block of El Rancho Road.

"It appears to be some kind of domestic dispute, but we don't know exactly what it was over," said Dwight Mitchell, a Metro Police Department spokesman.

The name of the victim, who was taken to University Hospital, was not immediately available.

The incident began when police responded to a report at 6:50 a.m. of a shooting at the home on a quiet residential street off Seatonville Road.

"While there, officers heard another shot from inside the house," Mitchell said. "Officers secured the perimeter and called in the SWAT team, which arrived between 8 and 8:30."

A woman in her 70s, who has not been identified but was unharmed, was allowed to leave the house about 9:20 a.m., Mitchell said. A fourth person, identified by Mitchell as the woman's grandson, was in the house at the time of the initial shooting but escaped before police arrived.

If they are going to second guess the police, don't call them.

Take care of the matter yourself. I believe if one of the neighbors at Iroquois projects shot and killed this man instead of calling the police, they would have given him a medal and the so-called ministers and their supporters would have agreed.

Or, how about this, if the police did not come when they were called and this man killed one of the neighbors, they would be suing the police for allowing this man to kill someone.

As if the police can be jolly on the spot everytime.Goodness, it would take an extra thousand or two new recruits for the crime alone in the westend.

Just one of the very many Louisville Westend Crime Magazine articles:

I read with astonishment of the black man who was released from prison less than two years ago and kills his baby son.

The thing is, he was in prison for killing his other baby son.

Not one person cried out about this tragic killing in support of the babies as in: "My baby, my baby".

Not one person.

Just think if the baby had killed the dad, you probably would have heard the family say: "My baby, My baby, he was a good man trying to get his life together, went to church and dog-gone he tried like crazy to lead a productive life".

i think this says it all chylloh ' its a great idea if you dont want the help of the police 'THEN DONT CALL THEM ' this ghetto/projects code of ethics /unwritten ghetto law of ' NO MATTER WHAT THE CIRCUMSTANCES 'NEVER EVVVVVER SIDE WITH THE POLICE 'has warn very tbhin and people have had enough of it .
chylloh did you by any chance catch the interview by the news of this maniacs neighbor woman ' yes he even came at her and threatened her . she says yes he did all those things as reported ' but then when the reporter asked her if she thought the police handled it right ' her whole demeanor changed and she turned completely ghetto right then and there ' naah dey didnt need to shoot him dey coulda handled it differently '
unfckn believable .

Yes I saw the news clip. This is what is to be expected. Tell me one incident between the police and the blacks that has not produced this whining.

Its a terrible tragedy in Haiti but the people there are selling the free packages of food (not for sale on the outside of the packages), they are taking the free bottles of water/water system and making the people pay for them, the hoods are raping and killing, etc.

They have blamed everything on America, they have arrested Americans for trying to give foster kids a place in America while they......want them to sell for themselves....to sell as in slavery.

My point: what is the difference in Haiti, the westend of Louisville or New Orleans----NONE.

It seems when a tragedy occurs, people would want to pull together to help each other---no, this is not their solution.

It was also found out that the gov. in Haiti has several Swiss bank accounts with billions that the top leaders have scammed off the money donated before the earthquake. The average worker there makes $7.00 a Year.America has donated billions since 1997 but there is not much progress from the money donated not only by America but many other countries.

Yet, we and the U.N. keeps giving money, why not give just supplies and help, this is what the money buys anyway.

This is exactly how we do the blacks here, they tear down a newly built projects, we rebuild, they commit crimes and we are suppose to look the other way.

Nothing will progressed to a positive level till we stopped catering to them and make them responsible for their crimes and welfare.

Ignorant Rant as Usual!! Hey Waysmorefool, define "His Kind" or "They”?? I want just one of you geniuses to explain how a mentally disturbed black man and activists from the Justice Resource Center equal the entire black population of Louisville? When the first four murders of the year was committed by whites Did any black person on this board rag on all whites for the actions of a few? No, why then when a mentally disturbed black man is shot by police every black person is at fault because some of his neighbors felt police could have handled it differently? Much like you Chylloh, You didn't agree with Obama's presidency so you became a tea bagger. I didn't agree with it but I can respect it as long as it's within the law. So why is it when black folks have concerns or disagreements with the same "system" they are whiners, however you as a tea bagger are only expressing your rights as an American Citizen, however black people from the west end is void of their American rights, right Chylloh?

I want just one of you to explain in a civil manner why you feel the need to demonize the entire black race when a black person commits a crime? Waysmore don't you even try; I don't want you to hurt yourself.

Phoenix, how did you become so stupid?

Your comment: "however black people from the west end is void of their American rights"

So, dumb-bell is saying if we the people of the USA do not allow ONE race to do whatever, whenever, however, regardless of the crime and are not set free or given monetary rewards for doing the crime, they are VOID of their American rights.

Hmmm, and we wonder why Phoenix is so pounded with comments against his remarks in regards to his (special) rights.

Woe is me, my rights as a criminal have been VOID and I want money, money and mo money.Signed Phoenix.

The whining continues, its dam if you do and dam if you don't and still they want you to remain silent about it, just fork out the money.....I meant, mo money.

I just love when Phoenix remarks, it just conveys my comments about his agenda and it AIN'T liking the white folks on it.

One more thing, have you ever noticed that among the hundreds of other races in America, only the blacks whine.
