Reading comprehension issue it was not stated in the original post that the event was illegal or not sanctioned. Therefore your attack was unwarranted and your original post was deleted.
The proper contraction is youre as in you are and idiot.
That's really funny !! If you are going to correct a person's spelling, grammar, etc, at least use the right word ...'an idiot'.

NYPD & FDNY Don"t you get tired lies. Look back to 911 at the stories and lies people said about you that were not true . How do you think we feel about lies.

There actions were totally unacceptable drinking on the job ? I do not care they were Volunteers they made an oath and obligation. First the Capt and Lieu-tents should be canned immediately.
This is why we need paid Fire and rescue on Long Island to route out these TPT individuals.
How can you possibly be taken serious when you write such an illiterate post ? My 10 year old has a better command of the English language. Do you actually talk like this or were you drunk when you wrote it ?

It may have been "written" very nice but there are multiple "grammer" and spelling issues. Is this they type of work that so-called educated people are churning out now?

Try this re-write (I hope I caught everything as I am not an English major). You will note proper spelling and punctuation.

Honestly I saw up to 20 volunteer personnel drinking hard on Sunday. This is a serious problem and needs to be addressed immediately. Do not take this lightly Patchogue and the other Fire Rescue need to be disciplined for this behavior Sunday.

This is not a blog and the people posting are not bloggers. This is called a message board or forum and the people are called posters.

A blog is a personal Web site that contains an online personal journal with reflections, comments, and often hyperlinks provided by the writer.

Thank you 'Keen Observer'.

When people like 'Patchogue Resident' try to throw stones and they sound so ignorant, it's ridiculous to believe their content has much value. I am not an English major either (just a poor white Caucasian), but I guarantee that even my Mandarin is better than 'Patchogue Resident's English.

Obviously we are way off the forum topic. The issue is when one wants to create change, as in the race requirements or local issues, you need intelligent, well written/spoken individuals to adequately carry the message.

I believe I am done on this forum but I have enjoyed your posts.

Couldn't resist to respond to your moronic form...

'Patchogue' should have been capatilized
'ghetto' is not spelled getto
'booze' should not have been capatilized
'partys' should have been spelled parties
'out' should have been our

Amazing... you wrote one sentence with 5 mistakes. Do you think any reasonably intelligent person is going to listen to your content when you can't write a properly formed, complete sentence ? GET OFF THIS FORUM !!!

Your posts are so close to 'Patchogue Resident' that I think you need to meet in 3rd grade.

The issues are:

1) Race safety
2) Race safety
3) Race safety

We need smart thinkers here.. not ignorant trashers....

This forum has went WAY off topic here and it's sad to see that everyone has seemed to forgotten that 2 innocent lives were taken. This is not an English class, and it's not a time to bash others. It's a time to recognize the lives that were lost and their friends and families going through this difficult time. I have said this on another forum, and I will say it again....
I worked for Phil years ago, and words cannot not even explain what a great man he was. I did not get the pleasure of meeting Kevin, but I have also heard of what a great man he was too. The fact that he was one of Phil's best buddies, again tells me what a great person he was. Experiencing this past week has crushed my heart to see what Phil's family, friends and co-workers have been going through with all this. My prayers are with all forever. Phil you're the best and you'll never be forgotten.

Keen Observer - My response was not directed towards Death Races' first post. My comments were actually in response to the above quote. I interpreted his comment of "enjoying speed when it's done legally" as this event or what was being done was illegal. And I apologize that my UMD degree failed to recognize that I incorrectly used a contraction. How is this....Keen Observer, YOU'RE AN IDIOT??? Is that better?
So because you did not read the entire thread you are calling me an idiot? That is a straw argument at best. If that supposed UMD degree had been put to use and all the posts were read from the beginning we would not be going tit-for-tat and could be discussing the merits of the article and boating safety.

Yes that is much better.

I've got an idea - How about Keen Observer and Glass Houses get together and start your own post in regards to improper use of contractions as well as gramatical errors. Some how you have failed to realize that this forum is intended to discuss the powerboating accident that occured last weekend. Gramatical errors are of least importance.
First of all, your first sentence is a question (?)... It's 'with regards' not 'in regards'. Grammatical is spelled with 2 Ms.'Somehow' is one word.

Again, you make my point.. I would be more than happy to continue discussing the real issues with individuals who are reasonably intellegent and literate like Keen Observer.

You said it exactly right. I was there and heard the info coming over to the announcer at the Geico stand.. They were announced unconcious up on the divers getting to the location which was within one minute. I have it on video and pics, not clear, as it was too far away. The times on my camera it was 1 minute 30 seconds from the time of the crash to when rescue crews were next to the boat. Their were reports of a Jetskier being too far out. There where too many pleasure boats out yesterday.
Hi, I am a very good friend of the two men who died so senselessly on sunday. Iam asking you for a copy of your tape of that race. If possible please e-mail me at [email protected] Thanks for your help in advance.

And yet another dick head - 1st the police were not even on scene during the accident or rescue. They towed the wrecked boat to shore after the accident. 2nd Every fire boat had divers on board and the two fire boats that responded were there within about 45 seconds. 3rd the divers from the fire boats got both victims out from the wreckage in under two minutes. 4th there were divers in two helicopters and they were in the water about 30 seconds after the accident. you probably missed all this because you had your head up your ass. Its a shame you dont realize the assets that are in place in your town and on the water to help protect fools like you.

Dont bother with him , he's one of those fat slobs that would love to to serve his community but instead sits in his moms basement listening to a scanner , only to show up on emergency scenes with his buff NYPD or FDNY shirt . Loser . Probably not a FDNY captain.
