The SCPD helicoptered potheads with tummy aches to the hospital and didn't arrest them??!! How much did that cost the non-drug using taxpayers of Suffolk County? Why do I get up every morning to go to work to pay my taxes? For this? If you are not going to arrest them, at least bill these bums for the services they used.

Great job Ocean Beach. The police and ems were awesome. The city services have nothing on you. You're the best. Thank you.

Yes, eating pot is enough to get anybody sick. I much prefer smoking it, not that it is that much more healthy.

As far as that Spike Sucker who goes to work everyday, thanks to you because you are paying my social security too. I'm a retired hippie and by the time you get here don't expect much money to be available for your own SS. If you keep electing Conservative fools like G Bush, you get what you deserve.

Man. Dig the cool scenery, daddy-o. What a blast. Hope they got some ice cream at the hospital.

...it ain't. Munching on pot brownies...since when is this news?

I get the feeling all of Newsday's articles are outsourced.

They could be written from almost anywhere, with almost no knowledge of Long Island.

Go with the flow you F-ing Lightweights. And give me a break Spike about your taxpayer money going to this BS. I agree it may be a waste of money but Potheads and illegal drug users are far less expensive on our wallets than the fat-phucks stuffing their pieholes. Obesity is a much bigger problem.

Who the heck gets respiratory distress from pot brownies? Stomachache, maybe, but breathing problems? I call BS. Sounds like the SCPD wants to push the "cannabis is on par with heroin and cocaine" propaganda.
If Newsday is going to report this type of story, they better start reporting every time an idiot goes to the hospital for alcohol poisoning.

Stoopid! They should've baked HASH BROWNIES, like the recipe calls for! Then, nobody gets sick. MaryJane should be smoked ONLY!
