Regardless what the guy did, no one deserves to beaten to the point where their bladder is lacerated. Do you have any idea what kind of beating you would need to do that?? Over a broken glass and a kicked door?? Some of you people are animals. There is no defense for what they did. Every one of us has done something stupid while intoxicated. What if it was YOU doing something stupid?? Who's to say what kind of punishment fits the crime?? Be as critical as you want, but YOU could be the victim one day, and I hope you get as much support from the public as you're giving right now.

Just over-reacting to the shitstorm created by the Bush deficits and recession...

More to come, unfortunately.

Tom Spota never considered thug behavior from police wrong before. Wonder what political benefit there was in this. This is typical behavior by police all over Suffolk County and nothing gets done. I will be surprised if these guys are held accountable. It's highly doubtful. It's a disgusting state of affairs here in crook county. The crooks are often the ones charged with protecting us. Fat Chance!
Tom Spota NEVER seems to find brutality if the cops are SCPD. He tries to make it look like his is on the job by locking up cops from other jurisdictions to deflect from SCPD.

When that fellow in Highway was arrested for bribery it was said it was the FIRST instance of bribery by SCPD in its history going back to 1960!!!

If the cops were on patrol in Heaven, that would be impossible.

Wise up. Not saying the charges against the OB cops isn't true, but it may be a means to show Spota can indict cops.

You did notice how the guy that died in police custody had a quiet death.

Suffok County is a joke being run by the biggest court jester of all times: Thomas J. Spota.

Are you for real? This guy was doing his job when you where sleeping. He left a wife and kids. Boo Hoo "I got a ticket when I was a kid" get over it already. When you are willing to give your life for asses like yourself then you can comment. Here's an idea. Go into work tomorrow, tell your boss your making too much and have him cut your pay. What? Your not willing to do that? Then why should the cops. Have a little humanity.

every cop that steals suffolk countys tax dollar should be investigated.these clowns are glorified security guards who love to harass, beat and intimidate the tax payer, they wouldnt survive a day in the streets of new york, brooklyn or the bronx.they are a disgrace to real policemen
I don't think Suffolk cops would have a difficult time dealing with the mean streets of NYC...Yet they would probably not survive in a police department that demands accountability from it's members.
