I hope that the Mt Dept does the right thing and keep Hwy 35 for local traffic and residents only. This area is such a treasure and should not be taken for granted. There is only one Flathead Lake and it should be preserved for future generations. This road was not built for the weight and traffic and speed that it's being used for now. This is a scenic route for all to enjoy. Times have changed. Lets protect what we have.
