i grew up in woodlawn, back in the day it was a decent place to live, in the 70`s +80`s woodlawn was over run with section 8 parasites.all the working class people left for carroll county + pa. look at woodlawn now. when the government places these section 8 parasites in a desirable neighborhood they always run it to hell with their culture of filth and entitlement. name me one neighborhood the blacks have taken over and improved?

It is true. I grew up in Finksburg and it is now the only "nice" place left in Carroll County. Do you know why? Because Finksburg doesn't have a city water/sewer system therefore apartments/condos can't be built. Hampstead is now practically a ghetto, Westminster has drugs all over the place. It's gone to hell. I would never live there. My parents are still in Finksburg and properly values are still pretty good, but it's a matter of time. The trash from the city and Baltimore county have bulldozed their way in and 10 years from now it will be another Owings Mills.

I agree with Kelly,I used to live on Pennsylvania Ave. Westminster,Md. from 1996-2000, tell you what that street had some problems,I left the Westminster and Carroll County 13 years ago and never been back there every since then.
