No, the public healthcare was already there, but Romney promised to rescind the law with the help of Congress if elected. It was his priority campaign issue.
The very law that he was so proud of signing in Massachusetts. How about that?

As Romney pointed out, Romneycare is OK for states - it's only when you take it nationwide that it's all socialistic and stuff. And xxx, it's so entertaining when you pretend that the government somehow was responsible for brokers who bundled mortgages they knew were worthless and sold them as blue chip investments. It's unlikely that anyone here realizes that retardican deregulation made it possible for bankers and brokers to gamble so recklessly with our money. If they hadn't, the damage would have been limited to lenders and their clients. Deregulation allowed them to throw all the rules out the window and peddle their make-believe profits to everybody, collapsing the global economy. Ah - retardicans. In a sense, we're lucky they don't do anything. When they do something, the economy collapses, or we get into middle eastern wars that last 10 or 12 years, or the government shuts down. Then there's a presidential election, and they get their asses kicked, and they vow to do better.........

And replying to you there is no way he was being sarcastic right? Because you haven't spent three days posting one thousand times putting people who do that kind of work down. No.

If he was, that was a rather poor use of sarcasm.

I haven't put anyone down for doing menial labor. I have simply stated the obvious fact that it doesn't take much intelligence to be a delivery boy. I think it is great that there are people who will make deliveries for low pay and no benefits.

your above comment is demeaning.

your spin saying it is not is pure BS.

Why don't you discuss all the people who refuse such jobs because they think it is beneath them, and stay unemployed because they THINK they are 6 figure salary or nothing type of employee?

The Kroger up the street has 4 people working that drool on themselves, and can't tie their own shoes, but they are there every single day without complaint and seem very happy to be there. In my opinion that job is the most important thing in their life.

We open our country borders to allow people in who will work for low paying jobs that people like you think are below you.

Fact is that there is no job period below you, and you do what ever is necessary to feed yourself or starve.

You disagree and vote for cradle to grave government support because you defiantly are not 6 figure material, but you thinky types think you are.

I hear lots of 30's age people say they are being screwed because they went to college and only earn 40K. Guess what.....that is normal, and the person needs to prove value to earn that 6 figure salary.....entitlement never pays better that average or below.

Wake up and smell the coffee, and open the door to reality Che Che.

Did you see what Sen Joe Manchin's daughter is doing? Netherlands here she comes. She's freeing herself from corporate taxes. ZOMG! I thought it was just the evil, greedy, misogynistic republicans that dodge taxes? I guess this changes the game?

<quoted text> Either way we would have gotten the public healthcare.. think about that.
Romney was going to be more cautious & likely would have wanted a consensus of both parties, not the patinship that did bring this ACA about.
He also said that he thought that a ACA plan was best left to the states, not the feds. We'll never know now. What we do know is that this plan was shoved thru & not as well thought out as it could have been.

You are correct. The statement about Mr. Obama's wealth was made in an earlier post in the discussion, a distinction without a difference.

There were 788 amendments filed to modify Obamacare, 67 were from the Dems and 721 from the Reps. 197 were passed- 36 from Dems and 161 from Reps. Yet they claim they had nothing to do with it.

As you unwittingly stated...these are 'amendments! which means AFTER the fact! Thanks for making that point. The point that the ACA was passed on political lines.

If you consider this administration to be the "cleanest," I would hate to see what the inside of your house looks like.
Under Reagan our military grew strong and our enemies weak, so weak the Soviet Union fell.
Under DumBama, our military is growing weak and our enemies strong such as the slow reformation of the Soviet Union.
DumBama's popularity is shrinking faster than that fatazz Oprah after she stabbed her white female audience in the back. But hey!!! Did you read? DumBama is extremely popular with Muslims. Yeah, they took a poll!!! They love DumBama.
You mean the Reagan that we all watched give Russia a BJ on television? What a raised taxes 11 times on the middle class, negotiated with terrorists Conservative hero. Best start rewriting history, rubber ducky.

Are you saying that born and raised, tax paying American Muslims are less than you? Are you suggesting that Christians are more American than non-Christians? Are you suggesting that our government hold one religion higher than all others? Now remind us again what this country was founded on.

Strange that you focused on putting down a black woman that has nothing to do with politics. By strange, I mean we ALL know you are a little Hitler racist that would gleefully hand this nation over to a fascist corporate agenda if it weren't for REAL Americans like myself and all of the great people who voted for the American hero in the white house right now. Now get up off the floor and wipe that crude oil from the corners of your mouth. You are an embarrassment to every working person in this nation. This is America, boy and your Tea Bagging treason don't fly here.
