First and foremost this claim is completely untrue, I agree Hal does a great job but it's Dayton, they live and die all things Cincinnati. Columbus is alot like Dayton, always wishing they could be the big boy city but never will. The inferiority complex that you exude is honestly very sad and pathetic.
Nonsensical argument: you agree McCoy does a great job but also neglect to note who, in your mind, provides better coverage in Cincinnati, which was the main point. So we'll count that as a "fail."

And, going back to your original claim that the Plain-Dealer does a better job of covering OSU than does the Dispatch, that must mean that Cleveland is "...always wishing they could be the big boy city...", right? Obviously this is ridiculous but illustrates your flawed logic and tendency argue yourself into a corner for the sole purpose of insulting Columbus. You have grown tiresome. Good day.

Ok, I love Columbus, others love Cincinnati, yet others love Cleveland, Dayton, Toledo, wherever. I am so sick and tired of all this hatefulness in absolutely every single area of life these days. I get it, you hate Columbus, someone hates Cincy, on and on ad nauseum.
The hatefulness in politics, the hatefulness for and against unions, the hatefulness against the royals, the hatefulness against the rich, the hatefulness in sports, the hatefulness against this and that and everything else. It just makes me very, very sad.
Ok, I admit, I'm a conservative. But I remember G.H.W. Bush's "kindler, gentler nation" and "1,000 points of light". Hopefully the pendulum will begin to swing in the other direction soon. It's all beginning to weigh very heavily on my heart.

Just a thought but after leaving cbus for the Queen City I now know why Cincy is better and may not need to report on their news from around here because there really isnt much to report on. We've been pretty content and happy down here. In cbus we were all miserable becuase they just could never get their **** together up ther hence the horrific school systems, fraud, and high crime rates up there compared to the greater whole of Cincinnati. Just saying from my personal experience. Maybe you should try something before you knock it. Since I know most people from cbus dont get out much.
And Reynoldsburg sorry but your city has gone to pot over the last 10 years becuase of thugs like you!
Yes, we retirees in our 60's and older, with mortgages paid off, neatly kept homes and grown college-educated kids have done so much to drag Reynoldsburg down. Enjoy your life in Porkopolis, although I bet you actually live in the "metro area" unless you are part of the 44.56% near majority with lowered expectations and entitlement mentality.

Does anyone else find it really weird that this toolbox seems to spend all day everyday posting stupid things about Columbus and hyping Cincinnati? What kind of strange obsession is that? My guess is something really bad happened to this person up here and has some lingering bitterness that he takes out on Columbus as a whole - are you a UC student now perhaps? I bet he's a hit with all the ladies though - what a great way to start off a conversation in a bar....."Let me tell you about Cowtown....." Oh, and by the way, all of the papers in Ohio devote news space to what's happening around the state, and even around the country and the world.

Even a biblical-sized bath to the city of Cincinnati won't remove the filth and the stench.
I've lived in both cities. They both have their pluses and minuses. Both have crime issues and nearly identical social problems. I think people in Cincy tend to be more casual than Columbus. I also liked the fact that in the Cincy region one didn't hear so much overblown hype about OSU football.

not sure what cincinnati red has to do with flood coverage, but you want to know why that is because the big red machine:Joe Nuxal isn't from cincinati he is from Fairfield ,Ohio. And Ohio state Buckeyes coach is From John Carroll Area of the state. Those Area of the state are covered by Cleveland and Dayton.
