As far as the fire inspectors, it is because they are 'on call' at all times... If there is a fire suring their off time, they have to respond from home.

last week I seen animal control truck at Krogers on 6th street pulling out, woman driving with a child in the front. Im guessing is a very good chance stray animals were running through Krogers. Doesnt that make you feel safe!!
