You've bought the corporate line ofbullshit, friend. You've got to have a boogeyman so you can feel righteous, don't you? Well your real boogeyman is not unions or teachers. Your real boogeyman are the ones who lead you around by the nose without you being aware of it, friend. Trying to insult me won't change that. They have a firm grip on your brain.<quoted text>
Damn right, they have impact. They're bankrupting us. The issue is - take a look at yourself. If you had the education to spell correctly, you might not need a union. Thank your unionized teachers for all their efforts to keep you down, via those better working conditions that don't require them to do anything but show up - less two weeks at Christmas, almost a week at Thanksgiving, all those 'professional development days' wherein they were supposed to already be educated, three months in the summer and 15 sick days. I've lost count of the 'personal days.'
By JOY BROWN STAFF WRITER A handful of union members and their supporters met Thursday to call for repeal of Senate Bill 5 and to criticize the Ohio Senate's recent budget proposal.

Very encouraged to see so many FOR SB5. Stand strong they are pulling out all stops to try and repeal this.. Think Saul Alinsky's Rules for Radicals play by play hand book...the Unions have gotten their base riled up and believing its all about the "union workers" getting some perceived shaft...We are killing 2 birds with one stone...reining in out of control unions and giving the state a much needed boost towards fixing the Broke state Budget courtesy of by-gone spending eras of Voinovich, TAFT and Strickland. If you haven't already talk to your familes, co-workers (you know the other 89% of us MIDDLE CLASS WORKERS), neighbors about the importance of SB5 and vote to support SB5 in November. There is a nice Facbook Page on "Building a Better Ohio" that is getting quite alot of heat from the union shill... join in the conversation and let's get this done and move on to the next step in restoring Ohio.

As a matter of fact, it was fine with me. I figure we saved well over that amount on upkeep and security at the mansion over a four-year period. And if he wins re-election, we save double.
We know you're out here scraping for you job, sweetie. The fact that you're so worried about it, speaks volumes. In your mind, SB5 may just stand with the voters, and you'll be screwed...because you'll actually have to perform to standards you've never had to in the past. You might have to do the work of 2 or 3 state workers which amounts to 1 job in the private sector.
The problem is 5.5 million private sector workers can't keep 350,000 public union employees in raises and bennies...most likely because it takes three states workers to do one job.
But some of us are out here doing the work of two or three people, because we LOVE IT. And the rewards are to die for. Oughta try working sometime, instead of begging at the feet at the private sector.
If you'll excuse me it's 4:00 AM, and I WANT to clock in no later than 5:00. Very busy time of year for us.
