iron gate police????

i travel thru virginia several days a week going to work and im always told watch the police in iron gate ive never in about a year seen an iron gate officer do they have police? or does state and county handle that area just curious.

I USE STATE RT. 220 5 SOMETIMES 6 DAYS A WEEK .THERE ARE WEEKS AT A TIME I GO WITHOUT SEEING THE IRON GATE PATROL.....THEN WEEKS I SEE HIM DAILY. IS THIS NOT A FULL TIME POSITION? DO THEY JUST ALLOW HIM TO WORK AT THEIR CONVEIENCE??

Iron Gate. Drug Problems? Violence? That's the first I've heard about any of that...I lived there for about 10 years and never had a problem. My grandparents have lived there for about 40 years. I love that place.

Iron gate is labled a speed trap! Most people know this, but if you are one in a million that don't know this then you do now. Watch your speed.

I know the iron gate police chief. He does not run a speed trap! If he wrote alot of tickets you all would be complaining about that instead of why you dont see him out.

I am sorry to hear that you don't think Iron Gate is a speed there has been a lot of people from out of town and local tell that Iron Gate is a speed trap. It's just the way small towns are they need to bring in revenue for the town or city. That's nothing to get upset about it's just a way of life.

Speed trap is correct the best way to fix this problem is to take a little extra time and gas and travel I-64 to I-81 why bother with traveling through this run down hole. I dont understand how the county wants you to come through and spend your money in covington but wants you to pay these fines on top of it. I have spent my last penny in this county and wont support any of their efforts in the future

Aww, go back to ME!! There is no "Police Chief" in Iron Gate! The town is a speed trap and the po-po knows it! 45mph in and 45 mph out.
