firstname.lastname@example.org) with over 40 years as a building inspector i have been throughout the united state and seen many underground fisher cravern and opening and sinkholes in my life time now working for both the us gov and the state of calif the possiblity is the smoke is comming from a coal mine that has cought fire from perhaps a lighting strike or a fast moving grass fire or a possible fisher scuch as the sinder cone in northern calif near McCloud calif near mt shasta were there are many fisher that have open to release gas the bad part is not using a convental drilling as the hard rock can cause the burning or unburn gases to ignite the best was to fine the reason of the heat source is but water jetting this will expose the steam at about 212degree water turns to steam but will not egnight the gases such as natural gas H2s and also carbon dieoxied it a safe way to determant but take hast the are coould be as big as seven to ten mile long and wide the area is undertermond as to ground formation and the rockieness of the area if possible if and after the heat sourse has been determine the testing of the possibly could be a fax that it's is possible a coal fire such as the midwest west has in vingina and kentucy and other state with natural coal such as northern calif has in the black diamond mine was mind 50million tons of nautural coal for some time reaching down underground some 1.400 feet and other nautral diamond too
along with murcury and other natural ellemants but this is all guessing or speclation but the fact remaine it's needs to be investagated as apossible sourse of power and steam generation and power ! i have run in to fisher like this many timwe in my work as a building inspector in the united state the one that come tome mine was a large sink hole open up while unders development near (vallejo Ca.) northern california which was investigated buy the UC north ridge as a cavern some three hundred yards long an 12 mile wide when two equipment operator one on a number D8 dozer and one operator on a belly scraper fell some 25 feet to the ground floor of a hole that they had no idea was there they were bump and bruse and shaken up but release from the hospital when the are was know to be a under ground river system the navtive indian use to clean and make food with animals picture on the hard sand stone and other elemants in the area it was a great find for the native american haterage for the indians and there was another in san ramon california when a construction open a cavern near a cattle ranch near san ramon ca. when the operator open a water cavern and spill some 500.000 gallon of water on the crew working in a hole to develop a tarrace project for home for toll brother new york development company the equipment and building was toss around like tonka toys and the water was full of native fish and other animal life in the area this includes snakes and frogs and was yes a site to be hold for the days it was lost for some time for the area to dry out for some time for toll brother development near san ramon california the many possiblity egist for the heat sourse (email@example.com)
