Garland is working on chicken ordinances right now which requires you to register your chickens and pay fees for owning chickens. They are planning on having you sign away your 4th amendment rights as part of the registration information paper required to be signed in order to register. Because the ordinance list that authorized city officials can enter your property at any time whether or not you are home by a city authorized representative and that you have to agree to these conditions, they have legally weaseled you out of your 4th amendment rights. I just talked with the zoning committee last night and they admitted that their lawyer insisted that this be on their ordinances so they could come on your property without violating your 4th amendment rights.
