finding a lost friend

This I know is a long shot at best. After graduate school at Radford, I was so in a hurry to get home that I did not say farewell to a dear friend. Actually two of them and both were from that area.
I recall one friend loved to play the guitar and sing Jim Croce for us. The other loved Bos Scaggs and had hair to the ground.
Graduate school was completed for me in the summer of 1977. I was so young and so envious of these two for being so nice and ladylike.
