really small store, okay for beer or cigarettes but no real wine section. female clerk was unprofessional, fake and came on to me until she saw that my wife was with me. I won't go there again with or without my wife.

No, "Gina", not gay. Just prefer prompt, respectful service.

LOL Actually I seldom agree with Gina because "he/she" tends to be annoying - but dude, you have to admit that a girl "hitting on you" is a pretty WEAK reason to dislike a store! I would find that flattering myself. A "poor wine selection" describes half of the marts around Carthage, too. Are there any other reasons why this place sucked as bad as you indicate?

@Silent Bob - had this person been simply flirting it probably wouldn't have been such an off putting situation. Sincere flirt is fine. Showing an interest in a person is fine. Treating a customer like a sub-moronic idiot who thinks only with his johnson while speaking in a fake sing song voice is not. I prefer not to be addressed as honey, baby, sweetie or doll (all used more than once in what should have been a simple 30 second transaction) by a store clerk. Even further than that, I do not want any clerk touching my arm when I pay for my purchase as this person did.
I was in the store to purchase a bottle of wine to take to a friend's party. Not to have my intelligence insulted.
To suggest that requiring professional behavior in a business is gay is a juvenile insult.

Hey Honey-Baby-Sweetie-Doll,
I'm soooo sorry if you found my flirtations insulting I was just trying to persuade you to share that wine with me. You see us Missoura girls are VERY obliging honey-pie. I suppose you are right that was way to forward of me with your wifey present. My bad, doll face. I promise if y'all come back I will behave and next time the wine will be ON me!*wink wink*
Cya soon Sweetie!

@"Lillithmoon" LOL. You are far too literate to have been the clerk who waited on us at that store. Funny, though.

Thank you. I was hoping you would find it humorous. That is how it was intended.:) Indeed I am not the clerk who waited on you and your spouse but I am from that area so I am familiar with the type. I understand your frustration and sympathize.

LOL Lillith that was a good one! Anon seems to have a good sense of humor too - they must have REALLY treated him like crap at that store. I have never been to Pistol Creek before. What kind of store is it - a bait shop, gas station, a quick mart or what?

Gina, that was the most ignorant statement anyone has made here yet.
Apparently you can't actually read the comment and just wanted to toss out some kind of stupid insult. The complainer is right - we had the same thing happen to us. It's a shoe-box with poor customer skills. Never go there again. Too many quality stores in the area.

Are you saying that the same female clerk "came on" to you as well, with your wife present too? Maybe that store is a front for emmm, something a little more discrete... are there extra "rooms" in the back by chance? hehe
