I worked with Sandy at Georges and she hid her vehicle at my home many times so that she could have an affair with a co-work his name was Darrin he was one of our supervisors. I had always been told by Sandy that Gary was abusive physically and mentally so I never felt bad about helping her hide her affair but after I met Gary I realized that Sandy was a liar and that Gary was a caring devoted Father and husband. I moved from Missouri in the early months of 1998, but kept in close contact with friends and family in MIssouri. When I heard he was missing I knew immediately that Sandy was involved and had never really thought about a conversation she and I had years ago until I read this story. Sandy while at my home in Nov. of 1997 had made a comment that she could kill Gary and get away with it by getting rid of his body at work, out back we had a building that contained tanks where unused chicken guts where kept in waiting to be hauled off for dog food she always said that because of her relationships with higher ups it would be no issue for her to dump him (Gary) in peice by peice after all that is where he deserves to be in a dogs shit because that is the way he treated her ( her own words).I mean you never really think someone is capable of doing something so cruel espeacially someone you trusted and befriended and brought in arround your children.

Yes We all know Sandy did it but wouldnt you like to know what really happend? I bet alot fo you would if you want to find remains of gary check the side of the road a couple miles up the road from the McCullough's old farm if you find nothing well it has been almost nine years and if you want to know exactly what happend well you cant cause the only one who could have helped you is missing and has been for almost two years. No one has even reported her missimg Now no one will ever have a witness for the death of Gary who was very close to me and I wish I could help you people dont know what all them kids of Sandys have been though One is missing and Kristopher pulled a gun on another one a few years ago but if you did want to figure it out you should have done something along time ago and you shouldnt have over looked so much like you all did and just so everyone knows it wasnt just Sandy it was Kritopher Klemp and one of Sandy's doughters they put crushed pills in his breakfast when he passed out the drug him to the concrete floor of the laundryroom and shot him That is how he died

The McCullough's are good at keeping appearances up. I know someone who was abused (mentally and emotionally, as well as occasionally physically) by a brother of Gary's. This same person was directly threatened by Albert, another of Gary's brothers. She is very afraid. Afraid enough she is staying with friends and has put her place up for sale.

Albert was Sandy's husband BEFORE Gary. She ran off with Gary. The family disowned Gary. They really would not have anything to do with him. I wonder if they ever considered any one other than Sandy?

Makes me wonder if someone else had something to do with Gary's Disappearance. I know there was a recording made telling otherwise. However, it seems to me if I were a young girl, approached by Albert, I might say whatever he wanted to hear just to save my skin. Was Albert the last one to see this girl? I know she has been missing for a couple of years...

I think her name is Lena. She is one of Sandy's daughters. She is the one Albert recorded telling how Gary died and how she helped dispose of the body. At least that is what I have heard. Now my understanding is she has been missing, but i do not think she has been reported missing. As far as I know the authorities have no leads on where she is.

I am Lenas sister and at one time i was Alberts step doughter and another time i was Gary's Doughter I loved both of them very much Gary especially, but to answer everyones questions ill start No Albert was not the last one to see Lena she was living Between Cuba And Steelville Mo. She gave the statement to Albert about 6 1/2 years ago Lena was 14 when Gary went missing she was just a kid so lay off about her and what she supposedly did N E Ways Lena has been missing since the beginning of 06 She was reported missing in 08 by our dad she has a son named Colter Chapin who is now adopted by and living with Sandy and Kris I know Albert or any other Mccullough had nothing to do with Gary or Lenas dissaperance Nothing has been done about Lenas dissaperance and neither of the bodies have been found yet

Nobody has done anything detectives have not searched for her and I recently talked to an officer from the town she is missing from (Steelville) Mo. and they did not even know she was missing or reported missing which is pritty sad

Hello, I swore to myself i would not respond, but I am the oldest of the six children of Sandy, I do not associate with my mother, or a couple of my sisters, My mom is sick, and i'm not saying she has the flu, but she needs help psycologicaly... She has been this way my entire life, and most of hers. Yes, i know she has affairs on men she has married, I know, i was there being an aliby or a excuse for where she's been.... I've lied for her, and covered for her more times then i can remember.. KRISTOPHER in fact is a kind, good hearted person, I have seen my mom work her "magic" on so many men growing up, and she could make them crawl at her mercy... I don't know what it was that she did, but she could make anyone believe Absolutly anything she said, the lies and deseptions have overpowered her mind and way of living... and that comment on pulling the gun out on one of her daughters, was referring to me,... that night when that occured, and was over, Kris had locked himself in the bedroom and i opened the door, and he was litterely shaking, and crying and had his face in his hands, rocking back and forth, b/c of what had happened 1hour prior....Kris would have NEVER done that to me, if there wasn't some other influence TELLING him too.... He was so ashamed and hurt that he had done that. But i Forgave him, cuz i knew then why he had done it. and it wasn't at his own will... and b4 this all happened i wasn't in the best of shape..I was arguing with my mother about taking me to stl. on her way to work in the morning, and she was refusing, so i was threating her, and i was screaming and telling her i'd call the police on her for the disapearence of Gary..... By that time, Lena pushed me and i fell and sliced my finger opened and needed to go to the hospital, and i screamed at my mom to take me NOW or else..... So they took me down the road and stopped on some back road, and the rest is whatever you want to make it! Karma will come, and when it does Its going to bite someone (her) in the fucking ass! Cuz my baby sister is missing, and i will do anything to find peace or bring her home safe..... Mom aint evil.. SHE JUST NEEDS HELP!!! she is not mentaly stable... she really does need help, and this is coming from someone who has known her for 25years.

OH and one more thing... No gary wasnt abusive to my mom physicaly,. on the other hand would drag me and my sister lena across the floor by our hair and get us out of bed to milk cattle if we were 5 miniuts late of getting up, Gary , on one occation had me on my tip toes with thumbtacks under my feet in the corner calling me horrable names for not doing the dishes and not watering his damn walker dogs..... then one time he grabbed my cat by the head and snapped it like a whip and killed it right in front of my face b/c i was playing with it and not hoeing thorn bushes in the field. he worked me and lena Hard!. But there was somtimes he wasn't like that, and was just teaching us the hard way, and the only way i think he knew how... We cut logs and brush from sun up and sun down... we milked cattle by hand and tilled the garden by horse. we were very poor and lived in a 2 bedroom house with 7 kids...I don't know how it would have worked any way different, it just wouldn't have. I don't know why mom does what she does but i do know one thing... She has kept us 6 girls together and had shelter and food for us our entire life. THAT is the ONLY thing i apreciate her for. She would just cry her heart out to see a animal suffer, and that is why she needs help, b/c one part of her mind is loving, and caring, but the other part is messed up which is causing her to be so unbalanced.... I don't think she can help it or relizes that it is somehting that she cannot control. Nobody knows her like her family, and her family is the ONLY ones who know what went on. But i will find my sister! So God help me.

Sorry I miss read Brandi's post. She is listed on the highway patrol website but with no information on her disappearance.

Why is there no photo of Liehnia May Chapin on the MO state Hwy. Patrol website? Seems to me, there are a lot of people that know her or the family, and that someone could make sure it was posted on the state website so that people know who exactly they are looking for!
