I wanna say something about Urumqi riot

On 5 July,Urumqi happened a deadly riot, which left 156 people killed and more than 1,000 injured.
I'm a Han college student in Being and wanna say something about this tragedy.
When I was a pupil, our ideological and ethical education had began to tell us to respect minority calssmates' manners and customs. In daily life Han people show pure-heated respect to minority people around us. I remind myself of taboos that minority classmates have when contacting with them.But in most situation I almost forget the ethnic difference between us for we get along so harmoniously that both of us are on very intimate terms.
In China,gorvernment carry out a series of policies to show minorities its will of being united as one .Minority including Uighur people have many privileges; they could atain extra 20 scores in National Entrance College Examination because of their minority identity.People who are minority could have two childen while Han people have to abide by the one-child policy.
The tragedy happened in Urumqi raises tremendous grief in my hearts. I saw some fearful photos on which a Han man 's back was heavily and deeply scuffed by some kind of edge tool,obviously the perpetator was a ruffian who lacks humanity. Another photo shows a child wearring a open crotch pant on which the blood was palpable were lying on the ground,coverd by a white cloth. Close at hand,a woman was lying unpercipiently, undoubtly she is dead. I wonder what kind of animosity can lead to such atrocities.
Maybe someone want to pressure Chinese government by using these contemptible means.But such behavious has made him more disgusting.And such trick of abducting the whole minority's peace is selfish.

I was shocked when I saw the news. I lived in Shanghai, where a large portion of thieves are Uighur. The Uighur thieves even don't really worry about being caught, usually the child pick the pocket while several adults watching closeby. In any case a child is caught and might be turned to the police, the adults will show themselves and scare the victim away.
Even they are caught by the police, usually they are detained for a few days and have to be released by the police. It is partly due to the fact that they are minorities, and the goverment does not want give any reasons to the minorities for them to be against it.

This being said, It is hard to believe that the government caused the riot, since this is exactly the last thing it needs at the moment. I'd believe that the riot was planned, exactly like the government said, by some people whose purpose is to make Xinjiang independent from China.

I don't really care about politics. Ok, you may want autonomy, but it should never be at the price of innocent people's lives. Whoever planned the riot,(and believe me, it is not as some media said, peaceful protest turned into riot, it was a riot from the beginning. It is hard to cover the truth in this era of internet, people have their means of sending out truthful messages), should be seen as a terrorist.

as one who grew up in xinjiang, I do feel accustomed to the shameful weakness of the government when they are faced with the so called minority uyghurs.``we han `chinese have to tolerate whatever they do.
`when the han Chinese protested, the policemen use tear gas for them, why don't you use tear gas when so many people were chased and killed on July 5? The chinese government are used to flatter the minorities at the cost of HAN CHINESE, IT IS REALLY A TRAGEDY TO BE A HAN CHINESE IN CHINA! BULL SHIT GOVERNMENT!
