Hunter shows what a chicken-chit, lying coward he really is... Dauphin County Man Pleads Guilty in Hunter Death Print Story | Share this Story Set Text Size Small Set Text Size Medium Set Text Size Large Set Text Size X-Large A Dauphin County man has pleaded guilty to charges in connection to the shooting death of a turkey hunter in West Virginia... Robert Tobias of Millersburg faces more than six years in prison. Sentencing is sheduled for November fifth. Tobias says while in West Virginia back in April, he shot at a turkey but missed, and hit the victim instead. When he realized what happened, he says he panicked, and went back to his hotel room without notifying police." But is that the whole story?? No! Read on! "WV Resident Grafton, WV Reply » | Report Abuse | Judge it! | #1 Sep 25, 2009 Well, I think you left some things out of your story. He didn't say he shot at a turkey and missed. He said he seen red then it disappeared into the ravine and then he seen movement and shot. He then went hunting again the next day right here in Lewis County. Some nerve if you ask me. And I know because I was present in the court room. If you are going to report the story don't leave important things out. Especially the part where the coward left and went home like he did nothing." http://www.topix.net/city/millersburg-pa/2009... All I can say is any person who is in the woods during hunting season needs a bullet proof vest! Don't forget one for Fido!

How many healthy adoptable pets do they put down on average every day? Have you made that call to protest the daily atrocity? I can only assume that you haven't and that you are supportive of what they are doing. Choosing to not talk about it doesn't make it go away. Have you calculated out a daily kill rate?

I really wish this 'hunters breaking the law, endangering lives, killing people and their beloved pets' was harder to find! Dang... But I suppose more importantly than these cowardly hunters, killing wildlife illegally, is that they were endangering human lives by shooting "75 feet from homes." That is terrifying. We aren't even safe in our own homes from these creeps. Dauphin County men plead guilty to game law violations "A pair of Dauphin County men pleaded guilty this afternoon to killing four whitetail deer out of season and shooting wildlife in a safety zone in 2007. Thomas John Toby, 29, of the 3000 block of Fishing Creek Valley Road, Harrisburg, and Bradley Darrell Goddard, 28, of the 300 block of Dry Run Road, Grantville, each agreed to pay $1,600 in fines following a plea agreement between their lawyer and the commonwealth. They will also have their hunting licenses suspended for a period of time to be determined by a game commission board, Dauphin County Wildlife Conservation Officer Michael J. Doherty said. Authorities said the men shot the deer in September and October 2007 between 9:30 and 10:30 p.m. and used a spotlight, an activity known as jacklighting. At times, shots were fired 75 feet from homes, authorities said." http://www.pennlive.com/midstate/index.ssf/20...

Ever see a creep that actually looks like one too? Of course you have! But this hunter that killed a toddler takes the cake. "SWAN LAKE (WABC)-- State police say a 16-month old girl died after a hunter's stray bullets traveled 400 feet into her mobile home in Swan Lake. According to authorities, the bullets were fired by 45-year-old Edward Taibi, of the Howard Beach section of Queens, as he hunted Sunday afternoon in Sullivan county. Taibi first shot a deer, wounding it. Police say he then fired a second time, about 400 feet away from the girl's mobile home. The bullet went into the home and struck the girl in the upper torso." Don't forget to check out the pic of the creep and the video. I'm gobsmacked by how little these people care about human lives, just to kill a deer. http://abclocal.go.com/wabc/story... The most horrific loss a parent can endure is losing a child and that hunter made it happen.

AR-News: AZ - Hunter shoots arrow into boy's heart Man indicted after hunting arrow shot into heart of young relative Associated Press Mar. 20, 2004 04:50 PM TUCSON, Ariz.- A Tucson man has been indicted on two felony child abuse charges after he allegedly shot a hunting arrow into the heart of an 8-year-old relative. Valentino James Pugnea, 45, was charged in the Dec. 14 incident in which the boy was impaled but recovered after surgery. According to the Pima County Sheriff's Department, two arrows were shot and Pugnea told one deputy the boy shot the first arrow. But Pugnea told another deputy that he shot both arrows. Pugnea insisted to deputies he was standing in his garage, shooting at a cactus, and was not aware the boy was behind the cactus, looking for another arrow. He told deputies he was an experienced bow and rifle hunter and had taken hunter safety courses. The boy told deputies Pugnea had been teaching him to use the bow and arrow and fired one arrow into some trees. The boy said he told Pugnea he was going to fetch the arrow, though Pugnea and another boy told deputies they thought the injured boy had gone into the house.

We do not relish publicly criticizing an organization striving to help animals. BUT, when one has engaged in a pattern of conduct so egregious as to threaten the credibility of the entire animal rights community, a strident disapprobation is not only warranted, it is mandated. More importantly, when an animal 'defender' is in fact a lethal perpetrator killing innocent animals, they must be stopped! It is with grave disappointment that we call for Ingrid Newkirk's resignation. We believe an investigation is warranted to determine if Newkirk committed any criminal acts resulting in animal deaths. If she did, she should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law, the same as any other animal abuser. Just a few thoughts from the leaders of PETA and some of the other groups they support.
In a war you have to take up arms and people will get killed, and I can support that kind of action by petrol bombing and bombs under cars, and probably at a later stage, the shooting of vivisectors on their doorsteps. It's a war, and there's no other way you can stop vivisectors.-- Tim Daley, British Animal Liberation Front Leader (BBC interview, 1987).
Fire is a tool. Nothing does the amount of damage that fire can. Arson works. Make sure that all buildings or vehicles are free of creatures before lighting one single match. Arson should only be used when it can be guaranteed that the fire will not spread to the sheds the animals are in.--(In the ALF publication "The Final Nail", under section entitled "Smashing the Furriers").
It would be really great if all these fast-food outlets, slaughter houses, these laboratories and the banks who fund them exploded tomorrow -- Peta Spokesperson Bruce Friedrich.
If the feed barn, and processing barns are away from the animals, and downwind, then they could be burned down. Otherwise mink releases are the only way to go.-- J.P. Goodwin while executive director of the Coalition Against the Fur Trade (As quoted on AR-Views, an animal rights Internet discussion group).

Cayenne wrote: continued: So the 5-foot-10-inch, 165 pound Schroepfer lifted the 115 pound dog into his arms and headed down the hill, blood covering his pants and running into the snow. He got to a certain point where he couldn’t carry Crowley anymore, so he covered him up and left. He met one of the hunters in the group, he said, and told him what happened. “He said,‘I didn’t hear a shot,’” Schroepfer said, then replied,“Take a look at me.” He had to leave Crowley in the woods overnight until he could rally help from friends and neighbors the next morning to retrieve the body, which they then took Steve’s Dog and Cat Repair in Edwards. Meanwhile, Schroepfer talked to police and the Division of Wildlife. And Crowley’s owner and friend, was thousands of miles away, unknowing. When Perron and his girlfriend got the news in Miami, he said they sat in the airport and cried the entire time of the layover. “It was a nightmare. We were both just busted up,” he said.“It was bad.” Then they flew to Denver where Schroepfer met them at the airport. “Tears started flowing right when we saw each other,” Schroepfer said. Though Schroepfer and Perron have had some time to digest what happened, they still find it hard to make sense. “It’s weird for him to be running around with a stick in his mouth, then he’s gone,” Perron said.“I don’t know how you’re hunting for elk and then shoot a lab. There’s a difference between a 2,000 pound animal and a 115 pound animal. It’s just absolutely sickening.” The two friends describe the experience as traumatic, but in retrospect, they know it could’ve been different. “When I talked to my mom, the first thing she said was,‘Maybe the dog saved your life,’” Schroepfler said.“This is hands-down the most traumatic thing I’ve ever been through. A gunshot wound I’ve seen hunting, but this is a totally different thing.” Perron said he will pursue charges against the hunter, and maybe more, to try and raise awareness on the trail by posting signs. Cordingly said no summons has been written yet, and police are still trying to locate the hunter, who will be charged with criminal mischief and prohibited use of a weapon. “It would be cool to remember Crowley and have him do well to the area in this situation,” Schoepfler said. He was an incredible dog.” He was more than incredible to Perron, who said he’ll cremate Crowley and spread his ashes in Edwards Dog Park. “He was the best dog ever,” he said.“He was a once in a lifetime dog. He’s an eternal friend.” http://www.vaildaily.com/article/20081108/NEW... Oh...don't cry. It was only man's best friend, shot in cold blood by a hunter. A 300lb hunter, hunting for food??? Of course not! He was huntin' trophies. But how come not of the hunter's buds offered to help the dog either?? At least Crowley didnt end up on PETA's door step, we all know that is a death sentence.
