Ever hear the expression taking one for the kipper?<quoted text>
We all learn to "understand" what is 'important' and when it is 'bull'
unfortunately most is in catagory 2
'ME' thought important was important but to my dismay I found values change and much is unimportant.....
so.... relax and realize if you have "Hon." before your name it should mean "Honey" and that if "Honorable" is the actual usage your full of, to many others, full of "Bull"
Yes ---- age brings unimportance not what you thought you said
E N J O Y
I took one for the kipper "Big time". My services were volunteered by mother when I was (5) years old (had no say on the matter), I was one of the first( may of actually been the first) to take the Polio Vaccine in this country.
How many people no longer have Polio, but I was a initial guinea pig and could of easily gotten Polio myself.
If you do not have Polio, thank me !!!I should get The Congressional Medal of HONOR !!Instead, they give me Buckwheats.
Baseball, sports in general was once very important to me, could not careless anymore. Except for the New York Giants and even there just a casual observer.
Your absolutely right, relevance as to importance most definitely changes as we age.My Health is way more importan now as I age then it has ever been. Iwant to live at least to 100.(Goal)
If I had gotten Polio, they would be reducing my entitlements?
How quickly people do forget!!!
