Greetings: I am researching Army T Boats and came across an old photo that was possibly taken @ Fernandina Beach swamp. Can anyone help me identify her or has any information concerning US Army Ts?Thank You.

My father (William E. Simms) and his brother (Eric J. Simms) under the name Simms Bros. of Dorchester, Mass.(part of Boston) built the first of the 65 foot wooden T-boats,#1-4. I would like to know what happened to them? Can anyone help?

I really appreciate you posting this. I don't have the means to handle a 65' wooden boat. It should be in a boating museum considering those boats are sort of historic.

Hi Dan...
I was the Captain who piloted the Cormorant from it's home port of San Pedro, California to Puerto Rico,1997. I was also the owners agent in-charge when the boat was hauled at San Pedro Boat works for a major refitting in 1996. I know quite a bit about this vessel. Contact me at [e-mail]
