He needs to stand up and condemn the violence and looting. When the truth is finally known, he needs to support it regardless. Or he can add to the media circus and help divide the country even further.

This isn't a national crisis. It is a local event, caused by local problems.

If Obama steps in and the situation doesn't improve, it's not going to look good for him.

He should just stay out of it and let someone else (Like Holder) take the fall when the crisis continues unabaited.

That way, he can keep his hands clean, like he always tries to do.

The is a repost from another topic, but it applies to most conflicts:

ya gota love diversity, religious, sectarian or racial ...(include tribal, national etc. etc.)... "Men never do evil so completely and cheerfully as when they do it from {insert one form of diversity} conviction."

the saying is by Blaze Pascal referring to religion.

Well who took the fall for the same riots and looting in Seattle and other communities hosting the G8 Sumits, or any one of those Sports Championship celebrations?

Apparently the President didn't feel a need to "find his role" in the G8 riots or sport riots

Once a President takes a leadership role in attempting to calm a riot, there is a possibility of failure.

If calm doesn't come after their involvement, someone takes the fall.

Two adult gang bangers walk into a store and violently rob the clerk.
One gang banger was shot dead as a result.
The living banger should be in jail, but he is not.

The ghetto crowd waits exactly for such an occasion to riot, loot, assault white people, and to rape white people of any age.
Black leaders insists that these crimes are justified, and fuel the situation even more.
The president condemns the shooting, but says nothing about the crimes being committed by blacks.

A black cop shoot a white person gets hardly any media attention.
Black gang bangers killing white babies and white children in a cross-fire of gang-related shootings, the media gives a small blurb, then all is forgotten.
The president is quiet.

When black gang bangers conduct home invasions and shoot entire white families dead, it is forgotten the next day. The president is quiet.

When are white people going to wake up?

When muslims kill dozens of Americans on U.S. soil, it is forgotten the next day.
The president is mum.

Is it because democRATS deem blacks and muslims to be politically correct, regardless of their conduct?
Are they a protected species?

It's already been over a week since the shooting.

Perhaps Obama is waiting for things to calm down, so he can step in and take credit for saving the city, AFTER it is calm.

<LOL>

Obama and Attorney General Eric Holder seem more to be clinging to the racial aspect of the Ferguson incident, while playing down the seriousness of growing riots, looting and general mayhem. And it's no longer a question of what's wrong with White society, but rather what's wrong with Black society?

Two sources now establish the officer suffered more than a swollen face, but an actual orbital eye socket fracture from the initial assault on him by Brown, which in addition to the subsequent rush on the officer is now substantiated by over a dozen witnesses and an almost immediate audio recording of a witness at the scene. The outrageous inflammatory statements coming from some Democrats, including the insinuations from Obama, have caused a complete breakdown of the rule of law. Not only that, but the majority of those looting, setting fires and brandishing guns are from out of State... Black Panthers from Oakland and radical Communists from Chicago.

This is what the Marxist takeover of the Democrat Party has brought America... inflaming a situation to myth status, then implying the problem is everywhere. Holder knows who the violent criminals are, but hasn't done anything to stop them, even as they intimidated people at the polls.

Boy, do you mean the riots in Canada (G8 riots) and World Cup (Brazil)?

Or do you mean ones on the shores and byways of America?

You might want to ask Foster who stated: "Well who took the fall for the same riots and looting in Seattle and other communities hosting the G8 Sumits, or any one of those Sports Championship celebrations?"

No President felt a need to 'find a role' in any of those riots.

Why should Obama need to 'find a role' in this one?

You associate the acts of 25 to 50 people to the character of an entire race? Thats pretty ridiculous.
