Minnie Ha-Ha Park is a very nice facility with a well designed and maintained asphalt walking trail. I am sure that any expansion, including a river crossing, would be welcome by all area residents.

If the river crossing isn't big enough for two lanes of cars to get across that should not be done. Fix the bridge that is falling apart before you worry about tha stupid shit.

Fix the bridge first then worry about other not as important projects ie. Bike paths. that would take some of the preasure off of gravois and 141 around fenton. tons of people used that instead of going to 141 to get anywhere.

I'm guessing that no one actually read the article first. It says pretty clearly that this would be done after a new auto bridge is built. "

The pedestrian and bike trail would use the Old Gravois Bridge that is now in use, and auto traffic would be switched to a new bridge across the Meramec," explained Hunzeker. "This all assumes a lot of cooperation between local entities and help from the federal government on a new bridge, but it is not so 'pie-in-the-sky' as people might think."

so now that 'someone' is buying out the houses on rock alva & belfast dr, are those homeowners being fairly compensated. exactly where will the proposed trail be from minnie ha ha to tapawingo? it would also be nice to somehow recognize & honor those of us that called this our home. my family lived in the house from 1956 until it was just bought out.
