I recently purchased a 1998 Plymouth Neon from Lancaster Motors. On my way home I realized the thermostat was stuck open so I didn't get any heat. Also the radio volume would disappear as well. First thing the next morning I contacted the dealership to see if they would help with these problems and I was told if I can get the car down there they will be happy to take care of it. I told the salesman I couldn't get the car there that night but the next day I should be able to. He told me not a problem to just leave the keys in the visor and they will take care of it the next day. The next day comes and the salesman calls me saying I should just take care of the problems, they are so minor that I should be able to do it. I thought about it and decided I would rather just have the dealership handle it. I called them to let them know when I would be bringing the car there for them to repair it and they told me not to bother. They will only fix it if I pay half. After speaking to the owner of the business he confirmed what the salesman said. I am out of luck.

I would not recommend buying a car from LANCASTER MOTORS in LANCASTER, WI. They are poster childeren for the "typical" used car salesmen.

This is very typical want something for nothing customers that give all customers a bad rap. Isn't it funny how there is alway two sides to the story...They purchased a $2500. car that was AS_IS. Not sure why that is so hard to understand, not to mention it is a 10 year old car. To set the story straight We fixed the car for these people and they weren't charged a dime. Oh how they forget to put that part in their complaint! Typical, if your going to complain at least tell the whole story. We take pride in selling top quality vehicles and standing behind them like we did in this case. This is why we only sell late model vehicles, so we don't have to deal with the "something for nothing crowd" Just isn't worth our time and neither is Mr. Walters, who is from Madison area not Cedar Rapids, again another lie, guess I see a pattern here... When you make a decision at least make sure it is an informed decision. To listen to only one side of the story is crazy. Sure would be nice for these people to tell the truth about what happened and how it ended. Mike

Let me guess jerry, you are probably the most honest person in the world. I guess when the car dealers crystal ball breaks and they cant predict auto concerns anymore thats when consumers will be honest. It is people like you who take their car in to trade because the tranny is starting to slip so lets try to screw the dealer!! but never once do you consider the next poor sole that is buying your car. Taking their hard earned money in trust and faith that the consumer that traded the car was honest.Get a clue loser there are 10x more dishonest customers trading than there are dishonest dealers selling.

Jerry... I not only work here I own it. So I take these thing personally especially when they are not true. You nothing about me or this place. What do you know about honesty? What do you do for a living? I have a very large base of customers who know about our honesty and integrity, so when I get one misinformed person like yourself, who would group all car dealers in the same catagory and say they are dishonest, you are WRONG! Just read the response from an intelligent person.

Just keep milking your disability jerry. And quit talking about things you dont know and understand. The two used car lots that were in fennimore were owned by 1.pioneer motors 2.suburban motors in black earth. So next time you think you know something jump in your suped up wheelchair and mach9 it to find out. Some states dont require the cars to be inspected. differnt people drive cars in differnt ways. which sets into a computer then someone drives it differnt and the car acts up. But here is a good suggestion next time you need to buy a car get in a time machine and buy one from DON FRIEDERICK USED CARS.

Sam your still dishonest and pathetic no matter how you try to hide it> As for your comment about my disability truely showsyour character now doesn t it?As for not understanding i do understand car dealers and salesman are crooks all you have to do is ask around! Wisconsin does require car inspections and if its checked as checked i expect that so tell me how if checked within 3 days it goes to hell sounds fishy doesn t it. The dam car had no oil in iy at all none didn t even read on the stick. I don t check my oil hourly do you?

Jerry I can appreiciate where you are coming from but if a car is bought as-is that means it is as-is. No more discussion. Not one day later or a week later. AS-IS means AS-IS. And a dealer isnt always dishonest when something happens to an automobile. The consumer is always offered an extened warranty but say we dont want that its a rip off. UNtil something happens. And of coarse if that doesnt happen then it should be buyer beware. The consumer should shoulder the blame. If car buying is done properly it can be fun. the way it should be. I have friends and family that has done bussiness with Lancaster motors and have all said WOW. that was fun. Not your typical transaction. Just fun. We can all listen to the rumor mill but perception is usually reality. If lancaster motors were as crooked as you say then why are they always #1-#3 in the used car and truck standings. Again an informed person's word goes alot further than someone who just sits back and talks about what they have HEARD.

Jerry what do you know about being honest. sounds to me like your milking the disability system, no matter what your disability is you still have the ability to work with a computer, which would allow you to work for you money like the rest of us americans. And to hear you call me a crook while I'm out here busting my ass to pay my taxes so you can lay around at home and bust my balls. You have alot of nerve, not too many brains though. You shouldn't be complaining with you belly full...

Daily Horoscope for December 31

Gemini

You'll need every ounce of patience today because even the best-laid plans could go up in smoke under the Full Moon lunar eclipse. It seems that certain people are doing their best to throw spanners in the works, and the more annoyed you become the more they'll goad you still further. If there's dissent in the ranks about how to spend New Year's Eve, you may decide to go your own sweet way and prove that you're an individual in your own right. But try not to let any bad feelings mar the celebrations. Have a fantastic night!
