From what I have seen you are right about the girlfriend. I heard her son wanted to pound his head when he found out. Jim is a thief who stole from Augusta before he moved away to California . Now he has moved back here and thinks we all owe him a cushy public esrvice job. First Sheriff, then Mayor and now he is on the Augusta council. I bet next year he runs for either Sheriff or mayor again.

Jim and I grew up in Augusta about the same time.
He lived here in Augusta with his mother.

When he was a policeman, apparently he was stealing
by not turning in fines. Then all of a sudden they
gave him a job in the City Office. Rumor has it
money came up missing and soon he moved to California where he remained until a few years ago.

I don't believe people change that much, I certainly would not trust him with money.

I hear that Thornsbury got kicked out of the local rotary club for causing trouble with that mouth of his. Is it true? I bet it is knowing him. The church people need to wise up and get rid of him, I hear he has acted the same way there.
