I've known PT for years, He would get bootleg stickers in the past, in his deputy dog days. He is a crooked perv. He treated his first wife like shit. He actually fits right in in Fayetteville and Fayette county. He is a nasty little mini man, with a BIG Napolean complex!!!

Pat? Pat Tygrett? Has a brother scott?
Scott is his nephew. I'm sure most remember when he trapped his g/f or ex-wife in the apt and held her hostage for a while. I do believe he was working at OHPD at the time and had to resign.

Did the Chief of Police retire in Fayetteville. They need to look at bringing someone from the outside, that doesn't have any connections. I mean someone well experienced in all aspects and do the community action things to help bring the public together. I know a certain person that can make a Fayetteville a place to attract people instaed of creating problems and people to leave. You have a wonderful community that needs to recognized for the right things.

This a**hole should've been fired years agao before he even became police chief. He's nasty, crooked, harrasses the secretary, and needs to go on and leave Fayetteville forever!! Parsons will be a heck of a lot better chief than he ever even though about being.

well Happy Hank I can tell you that I know his accuser, while she does drink I know lots of people that drink and that doesn't make them a liar. As far as a cocaine addict? I think you are misinformed there. I can tell you that I know a woman in town that used to work with the Chief and she told me he constantly made advances towards her. I can also tell you that this woman doesn't drink and does not do any form of drug.
Something I would have to wonder about in your post, if the woman was addicted to cocaine and working in the FPD office why would she be allowed to work there when using cocain is against the law? Pat's background is in drug enforcement, I would think he could have seen the signs of a user.
thinkig the same thing.

Before we let the shit start spewing from the assholes we call our mouths. Let's take a moment out of our (obviously) busy and important lives to actually LEARN about the topics we choose to comment on. Shall we? And since the topic seems to center around the chiefs sexual harassment suit, lets start by learning about the accuser. Were we all aware that during the time of the "harassment" the woman (who worked as the secretary of the FPD) was ADDICTED TO COCAINE and a DRUNK!!! Now i know for some of you it may be difficult to believe that a drug addicted lush would ever make a false accusation to get money. Do you people honestly have nothing better to do with your lives than blindly agree with whatever bullshit is bestowed upon you? Even now, right in front of you is a device with limitless information to help us learn more about ourselves and the world around us. All of you use the internet like a drunk uses a lightpost, for support rather than illumination. Lets use our brains and stamp out ignorance, rather than willingly following the other lemmings off the cliff.
Thanks Everyone, have a great frickin' day!!!

Who will replace Tygart when he leaves? Will it be someone working there or will they be smart and bring in a well rounded person to get some new blood flowing in the police dept.? New mayor and some council memebers, it is the perfect time for someone new...

Becky Neal is the secretary who filed the sexual harassment suit and won. She had a drug problem while she worked there and Pat Tygrett knew about it. They had the whole lot of town employees tested in order to throw her out without singling her out. But they made a mistake, they let the list of results get out to the public so she was able to hang on a while longer. In fact, Pat helped her niece out of a bad drug test, Amy Neal, who now works at the 911 call center for her dad, the director, but that is ok because his sister, Charlotte Holly, county administrator will take care of any problems they would come up against with him hiring family (it's called nepotism and it is rampant in the county hiring). The other "lady" who had a sexual complaint against the chief of police was Donna Hambrick, her husband tried to use that to climb up in city council, but it didn't get him anywhere. Now Ms. Hambrick's latest antics is trying to keep the halfway house out of town and it looks like Mayor Akers is helping her best he can. However, he allows his friend, Raymond Koontz, to run a business in a residential area, just across the highway from the halfway house.(also a couple of others). Mr. Koontz is Ms. Neal's father, so figure it out, because of the sexual harassment suit, they got the town by the balls and can do whatever they please, no problem. In fact, while chief, Pat Tygrett was not permitted in their neighborhood, even while on duty.

Wrong people wrong names. Get the facts straight before you speak. Pat could go in the neighborhood whenever he wanted. Mr. Akers barely knows Ms. Neal. Donna Hambrick had nothing to do with the law suit. Amy Neal didn't have a drug test. Come on now........just the facts not fiction and speculation.

Definitly nepotism. 4 city employess failed their drug test and were suspended. Ms. Neal didn't fail hers. They were all ask to come back early and 3 of them did but Ms. Neal was told she had to wait until council approved her to come back. When she didn't come back on the day she was supposed to she got a letter the very next day stating her position was terminated because she didn't return. Pat told her not to return on that day. It was planned because she wouldn't play with Pat.
