Has Tom Woodrum (former Chief Tax Deputy) been released from prison yet? Has anyone seen him? Is he working anywhere? I wonder if he's paid back the $55,054 he stole from us.

The public has a right to know when a convicted felon is back among us and if he has repaid what he stole from hard working tax payers!

Weird ones like "mymawmaw" apparently have peculiar thought processes. Most likely, mymawmaw is also a convicted felon. Judging the grammar, punctuation and spelling in his (or her) post, Mymawmaw is clearly an uneducated person.

No I am not a convict and I have never been in trouble with the law. Yes, I am educated and at least I know the difference between Mawmaw and Pawpaw. And peculiar also has a T in it. Peticular. So maybe you need to be educated on spelling. And if your a tax payer then why don't you think about the drug dealers taking the tax payer's money!!

To mymawmaw, would you kindly advise the people who maintain dictionaries of the English language that they have been misspelling "peculiar" for a very long, long time. Thank you.

Weren't you curious what that red wavy line meant under "peticular" when you typed it?

Here's still more evidence of the poor education people are getting in West Virginia schools.

MyMawmaw, would you kindly explain how the drug dealers are taking the tax payer's money? I assume you mean in some indirect fashion. Are you aware that Tom Woodrum stole cash directly from the Sheriff's Office? I don't believe it's thought that he was a drug dealer, however he was the Chief Tax Deputy of Fayette County.

BTW, I believe you meant to say "if you're a tax payer...'(not "if your a tax payer...") Also, a comma should have been placed after payer.

"peticular" is actually particular...you idiots. And yes he is out of "prison" which is actually the Regional Jail. He has done the time ordered him by a Court of law...so suck it up and get over it. Fayette Co has many worse criminals running around to worry about besides him. Get over yourselves and find soemthing else to gossip about. All the skeletons in this tiny towns closet, I am sure you all can find something.

Tom Woodrum knows where all the skeletons are burried with all the years at the court house and town council Fayetteville,I am surprised he got any time in jail,if he snitches look for more arest in the future, there are a bunch of lawyers and people at the court house hoping this gossip just goes away.

I dont disagree at all...but with all the other crap going on around here, this is beating a dead horse. Yes there are dirty cops lawyers, elected officials, they may or may not get caught. He went to court like anybody else, and went through the legal process. He may have got off easy but he is not the first and certainly not the last. Its over and done, nothing can change it now, just leave it alone. Harp about the ones who are yet to get caught and how to fry them....

I've been told that Tom Woodrum is performing his community service sentence time by working at the food pantry on old Hwy 16 in Fayetteville. Frankly, I don't think it's right that decent people in our area should have to interact with a convicted thief at a food pantry. I would much rather have him picking up trash along our roadsides with a gang of other convicted criminals.

Wonder how many more corrupt people are working in court house and stealing from us. Is he going to pay money back? What about deputy accused of stealing Oak Hill FD money, is this being swept under rug?

Woodrum won't pay the money back, the deputy from Oak Hill will get a slap on the wrist. The good ole boy clique in Fayetteville look out for their own. Fayetteville will get their money back by raising our taxes, as usual we the citizens pay for their mistakes. And the sad thing is we can do nothing about it and they know it.

Guys, this is nothing new in Fayetteville. I've been around here a long time and it's always been for the 'good ole boys'. I just hate fake people, and this town is full of them.
