Cathedral is great, but I don't usually go there during the summer. The place is full of hippies and it becomes one of those places where the normal local people just don't wanna go.

Well I must have hit a nerve, but you still have not given a definition of a normal local. I have been here all my life and my family settled most of this area so losers like you would have a place to collect food stamps / EBT card ya retard. Better check yer spelling ya weed monkey!

To Yea Right let me explain what a local is we don't walk around wearing socks and sandals together or little beenie hats in the summer we don't have dreadlocks and we comb our hair everyday just go to Fayetteville in rafting season and watch people, is that all you think about trying to belittle people so you feel good about collecting your food stamps in the winter when you can't river guide

Lou ya better go back and take 7th and 8th grade English classes again. Its obvious you had a ruff time with sentence structure, plus how and when to use a period. So tell me Lou what does a local normal wear? In regards to winter I help folks like you get their GED.

The "seasonal" residents of Fayetteville do help our communtiy out and do bring tourism, to make the nice town and community we have, there is no denying it. That being said, "SOME" of them do walk around here dirty and unclean looking and do seem to have a sense of entitlemnt about them. Not all of them. I have met some very nice people from all over the country and world who come here to work our rivers and outdoors. But they do stick out very obviously in such a small conventional town like Fayetteville, and they make the good ones be lumped in with them as "river rats". Our town and community have been very welcoming and overall cordial as far as I can tell, and when these people blow in to town and back out every spring and fall, they could be a little more respectful sometimes. In regards to the original topic, they come in and "take over' local eating establishments and other businesses when it is us "locals/natives" that keep them open ALL year round. I still recommend Cahedral for the best overall breakfast in town.
