CRIMINAL MISCHIEF: Chambersburg police are investigating several incidents of property damage that were caused by a BB gun, which occurred Friday night into Saturday.

"DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE: Greencastle police arrested Paul N. Smith, 59, Altoona, for driving under the influence, at 1:59 a.m. Sunday.
Police said officers saw Smith fail to use a turn signal for a right-hand turn onto West Baltimore Street, and then saw the vehicle swerving. Police later received a report of a vehicle that had left a residence on East Madison Street with a possibly intoxicated driver --a vehicle that matched the description of Smith's.
Police stopped the vehicle and said they detected a strong odor of alcohol on him. lane, and found her allegedly to be under the influence of alcohol"
Is Paul N. Smith a female???? This report says that they (the police) allegedly found her to be under the influence......

The Public Opinion reporter who is collecting Police blotter items apparently does not read them and just slams whatever the say into the newspaper whether it is coherent or not. This instance is just like the confusion of the bicyclist who hit the truck or the truck hit the kid on the bike. Com'on editor, pull up your socks and get someone competent on the job. If it's the error of the police, call them on it and get a story minus conflicts.

the reporters for the public opinion dont care about anything but getting the story out .. i am a domestic violence victim that has a protection form abuse order and when it was alleged that i did something before the judge or jury could hear my case . my name and address were published .. they need to take a look at what they are doing and maybe the story should have been looked over .. i went to the p o with my protection from abuse order and wasnt even told i am sorry that i put your life in danger . i was told that it was public knowlage everything that goes through the courts can be found there . i understood that but women in need relocated me so my abuser didnt know where i was , but the p o took care of that and when released from prison he found me . thanks to the po i am no longer safe .. kudos NOT to the good old public opinion ...
